Warnings / Notes: ... Yeah, I have no idea myself. This is number 51 for the 100 theme challenge. The theme is "Sport". I don't own anything.
The Vocaloids were pretty good at a lot of things, usually when music was involved and overall they were pretty good actors / actresses and fashionable people. They knew how to dance very well, since it was a part of their programming. Not to mention they got work done fast such as paperwork and cleaning, and there was at least one Vocaloid in each company that knew how to cook.
In a way, they were perfect beings, or in this case androids.
However, one would not have guessed that they were terrible at the most popular sport in Japan.
Baseball.
Watching the Vocaloids play was a disaster; The Kagamine twins always fought who was going to be in the outfield, Miku could barely throw a perfect pitch, it took all of them a practice game just to learn how to hit the ball correctly and, well, the list really does go on.
Let's face it, the only Vocaloid who knows how to play correctly is the one in Elementary school.
Kaai Yuki sighed to herself as she watched one of the newer Vocaloids, SeeU, trip over her hair and fall on her face. Yuki's team was winning, of course, but that's only because Yuki was on their team. She had no idea why they had these Friday night baseball games when none of them could even make it to home plate.
But in a weird way, she liked it. People fought over her, as in they argued about which team she would be on, and the younger Vocaloid simply smiled and hummed to herself obviously amused by such a sight. The elementary student didn't get much attention as a singer and she quite enjoyed what she was getting herself into
Not to mention it gave her extra credit points in Physical Education, which surprisingly was the only class she wasn't doing well in. She really didn't like that class so she had to depend on Friday night baseball in order to get some credits. Her teacher, Kiyoteru-sensei, always asked why Yuki did so well outside of class.
"Because, everyone sucks. Miku doesn't even know how to throw." She would answer, pointing at Miku who would accidentally throw the ball too far, hitting Master in the face.
Still, the black haired child couldn't help but smile at the entire thing. They were bonding, even though they all had better things to do than play baseball with an 8-year-old. They had songs to sing, music videos to act in, and conventions to make a quick five minute appearance at... And yet, they chose the end of the school week to get together and play a sport they all suck with.
Though, Yuki thought to herself as she witnessed Oliver and Ryuuto get into a scuffle about who was going to bat first, it wouldn't hurt just to stick with singing at least for a month.
