Blood +, Haji and Saya are not mine, which makes me sad inside...

Any who, I don't know exactly how this came to mind, but I bet it would have happened sooner or later…

New York. A city of mountain-skyscrapers, buzzing business people, and hundreds of zooming taxis; many shops can be found around Time Square or just around the corner. Although, Central Park would have to be a place of peace, away from the urban life. Many residents of this particular place are resting under the shade of trees with their loved one, taking a short jog with their canine companion, or just enjoying the sightings.

Two people, however, are taking a stroll on the pathway trying to get to a destination of theirs. They walk side by side, simply ignoring the family-life around them, for they have no need for it where they are going, and what they always do.

One of the two is a young woman. Aged around sixteen with short, raven hair and crisp brown eyes. The other is a man with longer, shoulder blade-length black hair with eyes as strong and as deep as the ocean. He appeared to be about four years older than the girl.

As they were walking along in silence, they passed a small group of four girls reading manga together. One of them noticed the shadows of the couple tower over them as they stepped by. Taking a great deal of air in her lungs after seeing the man's face, the young lady squealed, catching her reading-group's attention. Hearing the eerie scream, the man and the women jolted around, thinking it was an attack…

"Oh-my-God, it's Byakuya!"

"Byakushi?"

"Bya-kun?"

"Kuchiki-taichou?"

"I can't believe that's really him! So cool!"

"SQUEE!!!"

The shocked duet stayed in attack position from shock while the girls came running towards them. The male of the two spun on his heels, grabbed the female in his arms, picking her up bridal-style, and leapt from roof-top to roof-top.

"Whoa…he can jump that high and fast? It's got to be Byakuya using his shunpo!"

"But why is it he's always with Rukia? Just always saving her and such, seesh," said one of the girls, throwing the Bleach manga book on the pavement.

With her dark-chocolate eyes, the girl peeked over her companion's shoulder to look at the group of otaku's, who were still bouncing. She giggled.

"Haji, who's Byakuya?"

"I don't recognize the name, Saya, forgive me. But I do think I prefer Paris over New York…"
