Resistance: Fall of Mobius
Prolouge
No one knows exactly how the Chimeran virus was brought to Mobius, but the effects were devastating and swift. Early reports began to arise out of Death Egg Zone. Then reports began of cities being destroyed virtually overnight, with no known survivors. Many feared that Robotnik had returned with a new doomsday device. The truth was far worse. Soon entire continents fell under the might of the Chimeran War Machine. Queen Sally Acorn had ordered the construction of the Freedom Defense Perimeter (or FDP for short) to prepare against an imminent invasion. The Chimera eventually invaded with unrelenting force. The FDP did put up a good fight, but within two months time, the perimeter was breached. Most military personnel and civilians inside the perimeter, including Queen Sally, were either killed or infected by spire attacks. The following events follow a lone survivor who survived the onslaught of these alien invaders.
