Theta sobbed over his Koschei body rocking back and forth, tears streaming down his cheeks and running down Koschei cold features.
Jack tried to place a hand on the seemingly broken Timelords back but Theta flinched away from the contact as if burned and continued to rock Koschei's corpse. He shook his head slowly from side to side as if still not believing his childhood friend and past-lover was dead. He murmured softly 'You promised me Kosch, you promised we'd always survive, we'd always be together. You broke your promise.'
Theta dragged Koschei's body closer to his own and touched his forehead lightly to his Koschei's. And he screamed, screamed for the loss, screamed for the agony, the nothingness, the lies, the broken promises, the loneliness and for the only thing the Master left behind, the drums.
