A/N: First ever HG fic! Yay! This is set in Mockingjay in District 13. Annie and Finnick have met each other have a bit of a tease off (if there's such a thing..). Anyway, I hope I did okay.

Disclaimer: I don't own the Hunger Games. If I did, Finnick, Rue and Prim wouldn't have died...
Katniss' POV
I awake in my new bed to hear light-hearted laughter, as well as two different voices. One I recognise as Finnick Odair's and the other is totally unknown to me.
Tensing slightly at first, I try to peer out of my door without my mother and Prim noticing that I'm awake. I relax as I remember that Finnick told me last night that his lover, Annie, would be coming to 13 this morning.
Lazily, I shut my eyes and try to go back to sleep. It wasn't time for breakfast yet, because everyone would be rushing around and telling me to hurry up. I find that I can't go back to sleep so I settle for listening in to Finnick and Annie's conversation, if it could be called that.
Third Person
Annie mock glared at her lover, Finnick Odair, as he held her tightly. She had been rather concerned for him when she came in this morning and he had come out to meet her. He had bags around his once bright eyes and he looked quite pale. But he immediately brightened when he had run out to her.
The (mock) glare faltered and Annie burst into laughter as Finnick let go of her and dramatically put his hands on his hips.
"Now, Annie, it's not very nice to push people around" he teased lightly.
"Oh, really." Annie countered and then pushed Finnick out the door and into a puddle of mud. Finnick landed with a big SPLAT!
Annie grinned down at him and asked rehetorically "Poor Finnick. Is this the first time in your life you haven't looked pretty?"
Finnick looked quite surprised when she asked that and then said "No, I've been worse off in my life"
Annie rolled her eyes and said "I'm sure you have. Now, come on, get out of the mud and we'll clean you up a bit."
Finnick immediately nodded and quickly got up out of the mud, but not before he flicked a bit of mud at Annie when she had her back turned away from him.
Gaping at him, Annie reached down to the puddle, grabbed a ball of mud and chucked it at Finnick. It smashed into his torso, making him look like he had spilled melted chocolate on himself.
"Now, we'll go inside," Annie smirked at him.
As they both went inside, Annie thought about Finnick and her sanity. They may have called her insane and uncureable, but the fact was that when she was with Finnick, it closest thing she had to sanity.
End A/N: quite short and fluffy, but I hope you enjoyed it. And if you didn't like it and have some constructive critisism for future HG fics, it would be appreciated.
