An unexpected friend
There was once a boy, a poor, tattered, young boy. At the age of 5 he thought things would never get better and that he was the unluckiest boy on earth. What he didn't know was that one day, he would be stuck in a love triangle, only not his own. It would be a young lady's that has to choose between him and another man. Anyway, let's start this story in middle school…
Now, there he was, just sitting alone watching the other kids playing at recess like he normally did when his only friend was home sick, which it seems, was today.
"Hi."
The boy turned around to see a young, pale girl with long, ebony hair that cascaded down to her waist and ended in slight curls. "Hi, you're one of the new students, right?"
The girl beamed at him as if he had said something amazing. "Yeah, my friend Sango and I are the two new students. I'm Kagome, by the way, Kagome Higurashi." She said holding out her hand for him to shake, or so he thought.
"InuYasha Takahashi… WHOA!" he ended up shouting when he shook her hand and she tugged him out the door and to the swings.
When they got to the swings Kagome turned to InuYasha and said, "I noticed you all by yourself and I thought 'I should go and hang out with him!', so I did. And here we are. Sango didn't mind much."
"Well, uh, thanks." InuYasha replied.
"Do you want to be friends?" Kagome asked suddenly.
"Uh, sure!" InuYasha ended up smiling himself for once in his life.
"Cool! What's your number? I want to call you tonight."
"I don't have a phone…"
"Oh, that sucks. Well do you want to walk home together?"
"I'd like that."
"Well, then, let's go already! Don't you know that since school ends after this, we can leave anytime during recess?"
"We can? Wow, you just got here and you know more about this school than me."
"Well, come on!" Kagome said as she tugged at InuYasha.
"OK, OK I'M COMING!"
On the walk home
"So, when's your birthday, InuYasha?" Kagome asked out of the blue.
"Actually it's in a couple of days. Why?" he answered.
"Just making conversation."
"Oh, OK, well this is me. Don't judge, I'm kind of poor."
"Why would I judge you?"
"Because, everyone else does."
"Well, I'm not everyone else, am I?"
"Yeah, I guess not. See ya tomorrow!"
"See ya!"
And without another word, he stalked into his house to do his homework and figure out how to explain this to his perverted best friend all of what happened today without him making it into something perverted.
There it is the first chapter, and it may be a while till the next cuz im grounded and im only aloud on today so... yea.
