"Simon." Nia isn't even trying to be calm, her tone was just naturally soft and childlike. She and the commander of Team Dai-Gurren had a falling out recently. Or might have; Nia isn't exactly sure of things like this since she isn't a human woman, or a human anything for that matter. Simon on the other hand, was as human as human could get, his emotions often getting in the way of most of his daily chores ever since his aniki passed.

Nia reached out to him, a single finger gliding up to his shoulder while she held the other one fisted and to her breast. She's witnessed Yoko do make this gesture at one point, it might have been seven years ago but that shouldn't dampen the effect.

It was cold, but not in temperature. She could feel his bones through not only his skin, but through that what shirt he always wore ever since he became the captain of Kamina City.

"Are you hungry, Simon? I ca- would love to prepare a meal for you. And if your friends desire some too, I can make som—ah…" Nia was interrupted by Simon pulling her body to his own. Almost tripping over her own feet, Nia grabbed a fistful of that loose white cloth in either hand as to not fall onto her face.

Looking through that cloud of cream and blue hair with a contented grin across her lips, the princess was surprised with a gentlemanly kiss. Nia, no, not just her. Both Nia and Simon would have ever dreamed that their first kiss would be so tense, so emaciated, and so cold. This isn't saying that she didn't enjoy this foreign thing at all, even the trails of saliva as they parted wasn't nearly as bad as it appeared when Kiyoh and Dayakka had their make-out sessions in the good old days.

That was seven years ago.

Seven years ago, it would be different. Seven years ago, Simon was broken.

Today he's fixed, not back to how he was before that loss, but with the best and most perfect repair-girl, he can go on for just one more day.
