The girl layed, eyes half opened, exhausted from screaming for her life.

"Kill her," he placed an axe in Kouji's hands and walked out.
"....." Kouji walked to the girl. He couldn't dissapoint the other bandits.
A single tear rolled down the girl's face.
He pulled off the piece of cloth that was silencing her.
She just sat there, propped up against the wall, breathing deeply.
"....do it quickly."
Kouji looked at her as if she was a ghost. There was no telling how long she had been left in here.
Kouji lifted the axe and closed his eyes.
The girl closed her own eyes and turned her head.
"...I can't."
The girl opened her eyes and breathed as if she had just been born a new life.
Kouji dropped the axe. He lifted the girl up and untied the ropes around her wrists and her ankles.
The girl fell into his arms, unable to stand on her own.
"...now you better go back to Souun or wherever you came from and try not to get mixed up with the Mt. Kaou bandits anymore, aight?"
She nodded frantically, then she caught him by complete surprise when she gathered up all her strength and kissed Kouji with a wild passion.
Kouji blinked twice and then closed his eyes and let himself be lost in her passion, somewhat of a thank-you to him from her.
She pulled back and stared into Kouji's deep eyes.
She looked down. "I was captured by the Mt. Kaou bandits. They sent me here to steal any treasure that you may have..."
Kouji still held the girl in his arms. "Well, we can't allow that, now can we?"
"But I can't go back empty-handed! They'll kill me for sure!" There was a hopeless sorrow in her deep blue eyes.
"Then you'll stay here."
"What are you going to do to me?"
"Hmm... I'll make sure the guys don't touch you. You'll become our first lady bandit. But you got to be tough and strong."
"A lady bandit? I promise to be strong and... "
"...help protect Mt. Leikaku from intruders."

"...and I'll make sure that all of the others know that the charming new lady bandit is completely off limits to them."

She nodded a couple times and her eyes showed how happy she was. Pure happiness.
Kouji leaned down and kissed his new bandit princess. She owed her life to him and she stole his heart.
