The Christmas Gift

It's Christmas time in Paris. Marinette hears the "ding" of the bakery and rushes to open it. And she almost wants to find a corner and hide forever. Adrien Agreste was standing behind the door holding a wrapped gift. What will he say? What will Marinette say?

The Christmas Gift

I was sitting by the window, lost in thoughts when I heard a loud knock by the door. I kept thinking it was Alya as I was walking down the stairs and toward the door. But Alya was with Nino in America for Christmas vacation. Apparently, they thought Paris was too boring on Christmas.

A part of me wished and hoped it was Adrien. But if I were to want to give something to Adrien, it will have to go through his security first. Even though I've had a crush on Adrien since 1st grade, I've never had the guts to tell him. But even if I tried, Chloe would always snatch the moment away.

Crap! When I opened the door, I was about to jump out of my skin. It was Adrien, and he didn't even have his security guards. Oh my god, do I have a piece of hair sticking somewhere? Do I have any stains on my clothes? Is my boobs sticking out too much? So many questions filled my mind that I didn't even notice Adrien laughing at me. But still! It's Christmas for goodness sake! I was not going to have a heart attack on Christmas day! I can feel the emotions that are springing into my body right now; fear and happiness. If you must know, my palms are technically sweating.

Then, guess what? "Merry Christmas Marinette!". I don't think that I really need to tell you who that was because now I am practically sweating. And I have to say, I think my jaw dropped open as Adrien held out a gift. And guess what! He was smiling too! Then he slipped the gift into my hands and walked away. I watched him go until he was out of sight.

Maybe I forgot to say, but I am the superhero Ladybug. If you know or don't know but my partner is Chat Noir. But when you're a superhero, you're busy every day. But anyways I looked at the gift and you won't believe what I saw. Adrien's wrapping paper was in a ladybug design. I ripped open the gift and prayed there was a letter to explain this. Thank god there was. I read the letter and here's what it said "I know who you are Marinette. With the mask and without. If you wish to know who I am with the mask, meet me at the gymnasium at school 8:00 sharp or else someone will catch us. And be more careful of where you are transforming."

Now all I have to do is find out who Adrien is... with the mask.
