Revenge
Perseus Jackson hated his life. He was an orphan. Every day he got bullied. Why? Because he was different, he was weird and because he was better than everyone else. When he was angry, bad things happened, strange things, weird things. But he couldn't control what he did. Somehow everyone managed to blame things on Percy.
One day a boy named Michael Daws was bullying him, he was abusing Percy. Calling him a weirdo, a freak. That snapped Percy's temper and the next morning the owners of the orphanage had found Michael dead in his bed. Loss of blood, they said. And somehow they managed to blame it Percy. Percy had to admit, he was different. Every time someone came adopt a child they would stay away from Percy. They would stare at his cold, lifeless green eyes and run away. The orphanage weren't particularly fond of him either. He was the reason that people didn't adopt from the orphanage and they tortured him because of it.
But one day this all changed. On the 21st December, the police found the orphanage was destroyed, it was drowned and completely under water even though it was far away from any sea or lake. Everyone in the orphanage died but there was only one survivor and his name was Perseus Jackson and somehow he hadn't drowned.
