NOTICE: I do not own any characters in this story except Calix Myles. This is just a story I wanted to write.

"Barry, there's a major apartment fire on third street. you need to get there now!"

"Okay Caitlin I'm on my way." As Barry uttered those words he realized how little he had playful banter with Caitlin before racing of to get his suit from S.T.A.R. Labs and how often he did with Cisco. Why was that? he wondered. Was it because he respected her more?

Caitlin's hair was whipped away from her face as a burst of yellow lightening flashed into the cortex where she sat next to a long haired Latino man, in a graphic tee and hoodie starkly contrasting her own modest dress, light tan and black stripped, that went down to right above the knee and was tank top in appearance towards the top but revealed nothing. She had been glancing at the bright maroon body suit embroidered with yellow, stamped with a golden lightening bolt on the white circle on the chest and with a blink of an eye all she now saw was the dull grey mannequin that the suit had been covering.

Barry arrived at the fire to see the meager attempts of the fireman's hose to extinguish it. He raced in to the building and, remembering the last thing "Eobard" had taught him under his Harrison Wells guise, started to make circles with his hands to suck the oxygen and starve the orange blaze that had engulfed several floors. He raced all the inhabitants on that floor out and went back in and started on the other floors. Barry made quick work of the fire.

Barry's face fell and heart rate quickened.

"Barry? The suits picking up an irregularity with you vitals. Is everything okay" Barry unintentionally ignored Cisco's inquiry.

Jolting across the street, much like he had those first week after the coma, Barry watched the last person he pulled out, a tall, soot covered, 19-ish, dyed hair kid, exhibit the very same powers he had. Barry raced up to catch the kid. The kid turned around at the touch of Barry's hand on his shoulder.

"Who are you?!" At those words the kid booked it. Running only slightly faster than Barry.

"Barry what's happening out there?!" Cisco practically shouts into Barry's ear.

"I think I found another speedster. But I spooked him."

Barry ran. he put everything into each step propelling him forward.
