Author's Note: DO NOT READ IF SUICIDE IS A TRIGGER FOR YOU. This poem is partly inspired by the fact I considered suicide almost 12 years ago. I'm marking this as not complete just in case I'm inspired to add more. In honor of National Suicide Prevention Week.
Oh my child, my child hear my voice,
this is not the right choice.
Do not listen to what people say.
I can take the pain away.
I know you have your reasons why,
but you do not need to die.
Not matter how your life goes,
I will be with you through the high and lows.
My child, I will be with you.
