Everheart
Epilogue
It was dark outside. The time was 12 AM and the rain poured down heavily in the streets, sidewalks and alleys. Not many people were out at this hour. Especially since everything started falling downhill back in 1974.
Kayden Vincent and a group of friends were out at a bowling alley near Everheart, not too far from Tucson. It was great and the scene was perfect. They all were having a great time as college graduates, just celebrating and out to have fun. Brunswick Camino Seco Bowl was the name of the bowling alley and at 5:27 AM was where it all went downhill. Kayden and her boyfriend Liam were seen fighting outside the bowling alley and it came to a point where Jay, Layla and Austin had to break them up. According to the three friends, the fight seemed to be about lies and cheating between the two. Not much was known but police reports indicate that Kayden and Liam went missing at exactly 9:03 AM. Four hours after the fight. Cameras securing the alley surprisingly did not find anything that showed evidence of the two leaving. The county police searched and evidence lacked so the FBI tried to figure it out but their luck was the same. Disappearances have haunted the small town of Everheart ever since the two vanished.
Then, more disappearances occurred with no evidence of a struggle nor were the slightest windows upon the neighborhoods tilted. The Kayden and Liam disappearance was the first. Then came Brandon Hughes, a 35 year old American who vanished after his work at The Evers Daily Newsat around 1:41 PM. Third was Sara Newport, a 21 year old Latina who had lived in Everheart nearly her whole life and worked alongside Tyler Waters at Le Cave's Bakery Inc. It wasn't long after that, that a long series of people vanishing was a current event. Detectives the town had hired had no luck finding any clues and the families who were grieving were desperate than ever.
It's been 27 years and more disappearances have occurred. The date today is November 9th 2001. Over 4,000 people have been missing and unfortunately, more have been vanishing. The history of the town is a blur and no-one knows of its past.
