Nothing was going right
(then again, has it ever?)
His life had never been the b.e.s.t
Anything and everything is screwing up
[but if anything was okay, it was that she was safe]
They were f-i-g-h-t-i-n-g together again, b.a.c.k t.o b.a.c.k, and s/i/d/e b/y s/i/d/e
It felt better, more comforting, more whole
But something was wrong
It was just a feeling, but, but then it happened
She, brave and oh so strong Annabeth Chase was s~t~a~b~b~e~d
It looked so, so painful
{which made it hurt for him even more so}
&&, the f.i.g.h.t was still going on
So he had to go, but . . .
He also has to, needs to go find her, look after her, take care of her, even during b/a/t/t/l/e
~which is why it's his f-a-t-a-l flaw~
And he must get through to her
She will not die under his "s.u.p.e.r.v.i.s.i.o.n"
(that fact makes it even worse and guiltier)
She must survive, just must
She will live, and then they will win this war
He should not, cannot, will not just G/i/v/e U/p
