The first Christmas after Rose and Scorpius got married a lumpy package arrived in the post for Draco.

He had been quite suspicious of parcels that weren't clearly marked since all the hate mail he had received after the war but as he turned it over curiously, while the delivery owl flew out of the nearby window, a small card fluttered to his feet.

Draco plucked it from the ground and unfolded it.

Scrawled untidily on the inside of the card were two words.

'Here -Ron'

Draco dropped the package like a hot potato.

Ron wasn't exactly happy about his brand new family.

Scorpius, he loved, but Ron couldn't quite come to terms with the fact that he was now related to the person who tortured his wife when they were teenagers.

Hell Draco couldn't come to terms with it and he had known about the link since he was a baby.

He sighed and bent to scoop up the parcel.

Draco tore the layer of plain wrapping paper from the present and unfolded a thick, soft, white jumper with a light grey D on the front that matched his eyes exactly.

A Weasley jumper.

Draco's heart filled with a warmth he had come to associate with his wife, son and mother.

Who would have thought a jumper would fill Draco up with so much... joy.

He felt an odd stinging in the back of his eyes as he pulled the jumper, that proved he was part of one of the best families in the world, over his head.

The material was soft and warm as it looked.

It made him feel safe; it smelt like fresh baked cookies and reminded him of home... if not his own home.

He couldn't believe he used to think these jumpers were so terrible and embarrassing... then again that might have been his jealousy talking.

"Draco?" Astoria stood at the top of the stairs; she wore a bright pink jumper adorned with a soft yellow A.

She beamed down at his astonished face.

Astoria ran down the stairs and hugged her shell-shocked husband.

"Looks like we're Weasley's now" she said, her happy voice muffled against his chest.

"Yeah" he said disbelievingly happy, he pulled away from Astoria giving her a watery smile "looks like we are."

A/N Ok ok I know this isn't entirely realistic but hey, it's Christmas so why the hell not right? Merry Christmas Everybody, or if you aren't a Christmas person Happy Holidays!
