A/N: I do NOT own Harry Potter, and I'm sorry it's so short, if you want more I'll add chapters, but otherwise I'll stick to one.
Armando Dippet panted as he climbed up the stairs of had never dreamed that he would end up here, of all places. For heaven's sake, he was one-hundred and thirteen! Why they would hire an expiring one-hundred-plus man, he had no idea. But he always loved to return to Hogwarts, and this was a chance that no one could refuse. There were already good professors in place - Galatea Merrythought was certainly knowledgable on her subject - and there was no need to change anything that wasn't already in place. Dippet reached the gargoyle of the headmaster's office, and briefly panicked. Racking his brains, he wondered what the password could possibly be. Just then, the gargoyle spoke. "You, Armando Dippet, as the headmaster of Hogwarts, are permitted to choose a password to your study and change it as you wish." Dippet smiled, delighted, and spoke, "Wand." The gargoyle nodded once, and slid aside to allow Dippet onto the spiraling stairs. Oh not again, he thought with despair. But the stairs just slid upwards like that Muggle contraption (escapator, was it called?) and sent him to the door of the headmaster's - no, his study. Oh, I'm going to do a lot in my time here...
