"Zim does not wish to endure this senseless exercise any longer, Dib-beast." The Irken frowned at his rival's contrasting grin, unable to see the appeal in this confusing and dull new activity.

"Oh, come on. This one's easy, Zim." For emphasis, Dib twitched the two fingers atop his head again. His grin was supposed to be one of encouragement, though it looked more provocative than anything else.

Zim's own appendages wriggled in consternation, clearly as perplexed as their owner was by the challenge presented to his (unquestionable?) knowledge. He felt that the earthling's strangeness had pushed him far enough already today and gritted his teeth, almost giving in to defeat. But the human's goading smile was simply infuriating him! Such insolence needed to be crushed, the smile wiped off the creature's face!

The alien buried his claws into the armrest, straining both PAK and auxiliary brain, putting everything he had into finding a connection between Dib's ridiculous posture and something remotely, well, recognisable. And upon trying this time, he discovered that he did know the answer.

It seemed his nemesis was a shrewd little Dib-monkey after all!

"ZIM HAS IT! I have ingeniously deciphered your inane posture, INFERIOR HUMAN!" The triumphant Irken leapt to his feet with arms raised to emphasise his own statement.

As discreetly as he could, Dib snorted. "Well, it's about time. So what am I?"

"You, Dib-fool," Zim proclaimed grandly, jabbing forth a claw, "are impersonating a nudibranch."

The smug creature sat back and watched, with an undisputable smirk of his own, as the human's face did that wonderful slow falling trick that he enjoyed so much, a rather pained look spreading and overriding the annoying smile. Their positions had been suddenly reversed in Zim's favour. Sweet victory!

Which, really, just goes to show that you should never attempt to teach a simple game such as charades to a complete moron from outer space.

A/N: This little drabble was actually meant as part of a set of short ficlets I've been meaning to get onto. I'm not prepared to publish the meagre collection I have so far, so consider this a warm-up, I guess.

Also, this counts as my Christmas present to you ;) Apologies for the shortness, though.
