I own nothing.
As is my style lately, a bit of fluff that happened to pop in my head while I worked on a new chapter of MatQP.
"That has to be the most disgusting thing I've ever seen in my entire life."
Hermione turned her head and glared at Draco from across the room before returning to her paper, completely ignoring him and his childish jabs.
"Honestly, Granger, I don't even know how you can look at yourself with…"
"Stop being such a prat." She hissed at him, upset that she let him get to her but also needing at least a moment's peace to be able to finish this essay.
"I couldn't even understand that."
"I said," she started, making sure to enunciate every word slowly "Sod. Off. Malfoy."
The laugh he sent her wasn't what she wanted nor appreciated and she threw a pillow at him, the parchment she'd brought home from work placed on the side table next to the bed to she could properly give him the cold shoulder.
"Oh, come on know, love, you know I love you and your….different...ummm.."
"You know exactly what it's called, you arse."
"A sure sign I'm not getting laid tonight?" He asked raising a pale eyebrow.
"Why limit it to tonight?" She shot back, tossing her hair across her shoulder as she settled down into bed and turned her back to her now laughing husband.
"The way you let me know you're not in the mood?" he questioned, running a hand up her leg and hip before she swatted his hand away, smiling a bit but thankful he couldn't see her face.
"Draco….."
"Oh, now I remember, it's called a 'I'm a witch and I don't actually need this."
"It's a retainer, Draco and you know very well why I wear it." She said with a smile but a roll of her eyes, reaching back behind her to blindly, and halfheartedly, hit him.
"I honestly don't, you crazy woman. You took care of your teeth back in Hogwarts and I'm fairly certain that magic doesn't 'stop working' like that." He responded as he caught her hand and brought their hands together to rest on her stomach, getting comfortable behind her
"It's what I grew up with, Draco. Be nice. You know as well as I do, sometimes, old habits die hard."
