I can imagine Sho and Kyoko sometimes doing things like this, when they were close friends.

It was one of those nights again. One where the both of them was sick of reality and instead wanted to create their own world, away from the inn and all of the rules there.

This time it was a winter night. It was in the middle of the holidays and the inn was booked full for the whole month. Kyoko worked hard day and night to pleas Sho's parents. Forcing a smile on her face, even though her mother hadn't contacted her this year either.

`That awful women´ Sho thought. `How can she treat her daughter like this? ´

He had stolen a bottle of vodka from his father. Sure, he was going to hear hell when he found out, but it was always hell to talk with that angry and strict man. And tonight, Sho needed vodka.
Kyoko had a glass of it too, even if she really wasn't a drinker. She probably just took some of it to be polite.

He looked at her from the corner of his eye. She reminded him of winter nights like this.

She had a heart made out of snow. As breakable and sharp as ice, and it melts as easily as ice too. Just like the ice in her glass with her long forgotten drink.
During the winter the ice always hard across the lake, because daylight only last for a few hours here this time of year.

He looks at the snow and she sparkles just as bright as it in the winter star and moon. Her honey-colored eyes makes him feel week. They look sad. He is always week and good for nothing when she is sad. Bud he knows she usually feels s little better whenever they sneak out. That is why he took her here tonight with her sad eyes.

She is looking at the sky now. He can hear her whisper about how nothing should be taken for granted. And they talk back and forth about what they are going to do with the rest of the night. But he knows she secretly means the rest of their life. And it scares him a little. Because he cannot tell her that there future isn't set.

For her heart is like winter. Like how the powder snow whirls in the air, the wind howling. And then later forces itself to lie down. Like a blanket over everything. A protecting shield over everyone. Over him. And pretending she is okay, so she won't do any harm. Always the polite pretender.

But even in a dark winter night like this she can talk of spring. She always had the ability to see the sun behind the clouds.

Her voice changes a bit and she looks right at him. She tells him she will always be constant loyal to him.

Tonight, this night she wants to fall free. She even refills her glass of vodka, something she never does.

Kyoko's heart is made out of the purest, smoothest and whitest snow. And Sho thinks to himself that he must be careful never to do any harm to it

So yeah. That was the first thing I have ever written. I´d love to know what you thought, and I welcome criticism :)
