"I can't do this anymore!" Draco cried out as he began packing his things.
Harry watched with grief stricken eyes, this could not be happening. He and Draco had been dating for the past 6 months and now it was all ending in a heartbeat.
"Please Draco… Please give me another chance. I'll do anything to make this right. Just tell me what I did wrong!" he pleaded with the blonde-haired man.
Draco looked at him with eyes that mirrored the grief in his green ones. He didn't want to do this but it was the only way. Harry wouldn't let him go any other way. He had to tell him the truth no matter how much it hurt.
"I never intended for this to get serious, you knew that." he spat out at him.
"Well that doesn't change the fact that it has." Harry told him with a look of determination across his face. Draco could tell that the man wasn't willing to let go without a fight.
"I'm getting married." he replied ever so softly
"I don't understand…" Harry said in a shocked voice that was close to cracking with emotion.
"A sad thing in life is that sometimes you meet someone who means a lot to you only to find out in the end that it was never bound to be and you just have to let go. That's us Harry, its time to end it" Draco answered him in a hollow voice.
"I can't believe you could do this to us. You're nothing more than a coward!" Harry yelled at him.
"I won't argue with you because you're right. I'm not good at love, that's why I'm marrying Astoria. Someday, you'll see it was all for the best." Draco consoled him as he finished packing.
Catching him off guard he felt Harry's lips meet his in a searing kiss, making him forget to be strong and he found himself returning the kiss. It tugged at his heart as he pulled away, only to reply.
"This doesn't change anything Harry. I'm sorry but this is goodbye."
Harry watched in shock as his lover turned to walk out the door and out of his life.
