"Yami?" asked Yugi. Yami looked away, staring at the floor. "Yami?" /He hates me!/ thought Yugi, tears brimming his violet eyes. Yugi also looked away. After 3 seconds, Yugi left, but stopped at the door and whispered "I'm sorry." He then ran out the door, forgetting his jacket.

As Yugi was regretting his decision, he didn't hear the sound of running foot steps. Soon Yugi felt warm, strong, dry arms surround him from behind him. Yugi gasped a quickly realized who it was.

"Yugi" said the owner of the arms. "Yugi, please turn around." Yugi cautiously turned around facing crimson eyes, full of concern. Once the need for air, became too much, Yami pulled away just enough to see Yugi's eyes. "Yami" whispered Yugi. "Yugi, I am sorry that I responded the way I did. You just took me by surprise!"

Yugi looked down. Yami raised his chin back up. "But I'm glad you did." Yami's eyes softened. "I love you, Yugi"
