That's a dress…?
My little note (and disclaimer): This is a story I wrote a while back before we found out (spoiler) Andy had cancer. (end spoiler) It would still work after but yeah, either way you read it, it's still a short one-shot. Any way, I don't own Kyle XY or any of the very awesome characters because I'm not nearly that successful. c: Read and review my dears.
"Oh my God. Is that-"
"Andy?"
A wide-eyed Josh stared at the newest person inside his place of employment. He, and an equally surprised Kyle, had good reason to stare. Despite the fact that the blond girl was wearing the clingiest thing either one had ever seen her wear, she was coming towards them both quickly; a girl on a mission.
"Either of you say a word before I get to explain, and I hurt you." She slid to a stop; causing Josh to notice that despite the best dress on the face of the Earth, blue sneakers adorned her feet.
"Wow. Um, so how many brain cells were compromised when you put that on?" Josh, placing the washcloth he had been holding down beside him, leaned against the clean countertop.
"Shut up and strike one." The girl looked away as she cursed under her breath.
"Don't get her upset, Josh," Kyle teased, "She only lets you have three strikes."
"Hilarious." Andy sat beside Kyle and looked expectantly up at Josh; a normal gesture that meant she wanted a smoothie. "Anyway, my brother got tired of me 'embarrassing' him," she explained, air quotes and all, "so he forced me into this thing, out the front door, into his car, and well, here I am; looking like a mal-nourished avocado."
"Awww, I think it's cute." Josh sat her usual drink down in front of her with a boyish smile.
"Bite me."
"Gladly but I don't think it's appropriate for-"
"Stop!" She reached for the smoothie and brought the straw to her lips. After a moment of scarfing down the drink, she looked up and was greeted by insane laughter. "What is so funny?"
"Nothing. It's just that before you said that you looked like a mal-nourished avocado and you drank the entire thing in seconds."
"Even avocadoes have to get some form of energy."
