I'm sooooo sorry! i know i have update my other story, but I've just started year 11 and I'm still adjusting.
Anyway! I did this for my english SAC. We had to write a creative 'Who's Reality' peice and i came up with this.
Hope you enjoy it :D
Kagome dropped her school bag in the corner of his room and stretched the kinks out of her back. She looked around her slightly messy room as if she was expecting someone to jump out. Not seeing anything out of the ordinary, Kagome sat down at her computer and loaded up the profile of a boy. Anticipation filled her as he thought of him coming over to study.
"You really should stop playing those nasty, old games. They tend to rot peoples brains," said a soft, amused voice from behind, causing Kagome to turn around in fright, hitting her hand on the side of her desk.
"Geez, Souta! Don't do that!" Kagome said, rubbing the pain from her hand, "and I'm not playing a game."
Souta grinned cheerfully, rocking back and forth on the balls of his feet, "Sorry, sis!"
He stood barefoot in his favourite new blue shirt which was soaked in water, making it look dark blue. His skin was a pasty white colour and his hair was wet. The water dripping from his pants disappeared as it hit the carpet.
Souta giggled his childish giggle without a care in the world. Kagome rolled her eyes and shook her head smiling.
"Hey, Kagome?" Souta hesitated, not knowing how to ask his older sister. "Why is it that no one can see me but you can?"
Kagome blinked, not sure how to answer. How do you tell a figment of your imagination that they're not even real? This confused Kagome greatly. Her late younger brother is a part of her imagination and she was scared to tell him that he wasn't real.
"Um, well, you see-" a knock on the door interrupted her short mumbled explanation.
"Kagome, honey? You have a friend at the door," her mother said opening that door, "it's a boy. He says his name is Inuyasha."
"Ah! Inuyasha's here!" Kagome's mother smiled as the pain showing in her eyes morphed into excitement, "tell him I'll be down in a minute." She quickly closed the door on her mother and checked her appearance in the mirror.
"Someone has a boyfriend!" Souta sang and skipped around the room.
"I do not!" Kagome whispered furiously, "got to go. See you, Souta," Kagome closed the door quickly but opened it again and poked her head back in. "Souta! I'm sorry," she said in a sad tone.
"It's okay, big bro." Souta smiled as Kagome smiled and ran downstairs. He listened to Kagome's shy greeting of the boy downstairs and smiled sadly as he waved at the bedroom door. "Good bye, sis." Souta slowly let his arm down and faded away.
Once again, flames and more are welcome xD
