The Bridge between all Creatures Chapter 1

Author's Note: Okay I decided to take a break from my other series and do a Rune Factory Tides of Destiny Fanfic. It is from the perspective of one of the ten bachelorettes. I noticed the lack of storyline for the bachelorettes except for the FP and LP cut scenes and also a lack of Tides of Destiny Fanfics. It is just after Aden gets Sonja out of his body. So if you don't know about all that storyline then don't read this because it definitely will contain spoilers involving that. Enjoy everyone.

Chapter 1 Possibilities
~Maerwen's POV~
It has been a long time since I joined the De-Sainte Coquille household as a maid there. A lot has changed since then, a long while after the De-Sainte Coquilles had lost their riches something changed big time. There was this new person and his name is Aden. He and his childhood friend Sonja got trapped in the same body. He then proceeded to befriend all the townspeople and save the island from this legendary golem. Well after that we had started dating. It still surprises me that I could have developed feelings for a human. I am a dark elf after all. I guess there may be so many possibilities.
"Kelsey wait up." said Quinn. "Sorry Quinn, I was trying to catch up with our new friend." responded Kelsey. Those two kids were always playing with either Aden or Sonja so I didn't know who this friend was so I decided to check this out. I hid somewhere where they couldn't see me. "Hello there, Luthien how are you doing?" said both Quinn and Kelsey. "Hello Quinn and Kelsey. I am fine." said Luthien. "So what is going on in the mainland?" asked Quinn and Kelsey.
"Oh nothing much is happening there on the mainland. I am helping my dad out with his crops. What do you want to do?" "I know I'll climb up on the roof." said Quinn "No don't do that. You could get hurt. Violet is busy. We wouldn't have much help if you seriously hurt yourself. You know what Aden said when you tried to do that." said Kelsey. It was a little late one of the boards fell and she ended up scratched. "See what I mean Quinn now we will be in big trouble with Father Gerard." Kelsey carefully put back the board.
"Kelsey it is alright. I could help her. My dad told me not to do this unless under an emergency, but this qualifies as one. Stay with her I'll help you out." said this girl Luthien. I wondered what she was going to do. Suddenly, this girl started humming and glowing and by doing this Quinn scratch was completely gone. I couldn't believe what I was seeing.
Then suddenly Sonja appeared. "Quinn, Kelsey what are you doing? I heard a crash from down the elevator to the pier. What is going on?" said Sonja. "Well Quinn, Luthien, and I were playing. Quinn tried to climb up to the roof. It was like she did while you were stuck in Aden's body. Only this time one of the boards fell and Quinn got a scratch. Luthien here did something I've never seen before. The scratch is completely gone." explained Kelsey. "Wow so you really helped Quinn out. Thank you Luthien." said Sonja.
"It wasn't much. I am Luthien. Quinn and Kelsey have told me a lot about you and Aden. It was a pleasure to meet you." said Luthien. Just then Aden appeared. "Don't worry. I have heard everything. Quinn knows not to do dangerous things like that." He said in an exasperated tone. "Sorry about that Aden. Thanks Luthien I owe you something." said Quinn. "Oh it's nothing Quinn. I was just helping out a friend out. I was told not to by my father unless under an emergency. He said that 'I am special and I should be careful about how I use stuff like it.'"
"Huh, what do you mean by that?" asked Sonja. "Well it is a bit complicated to explain, but I was born with all kinds of powers like this because of my heritage." Just then did three yellowish woolies appear. "EEK, Aden it is monsters on this island. You'd better get Mikoto for help." said Sonja. "Wait these aren't monsters." said Luthien. "Caladwen, Rauniel, and Galadriel, what are you three doing here? More importantly, you know better than to use your monster form in public. What would Uncle Micah your father say?" asked Luthien to those three.
"Sorry Luthien." They then did transform into three blond haired, blue-eyed kids." "Sorry about that. They like to play tricks. An easy explanation would be that their dad is half-human and half-monster who also happens to be a very rare person. He is also an earthmate. It is one thing to be an earthmate, but quite another to be an earthmate that's half-human and half-monster that can transform into a wooly." said Luthien.
"Wow I didn't realize that there were other earthmates besides me. It is also an interesting concept that it would be a part human and part monster. How in the world could that happen?" said Aden. "Yeah, even put simply it sounds complicated." said Sonja. "Well, since you put it that way I guess I would have to explain." "Uncle Micah's dad was an earthmate, who meet a full blooded monster that had the power to transform into a human. They both feel in love and had Uncle Micah." "Her ability to transform into a human was what gave her the ability to have children with a human. Uncle Micah got the ability to transform into a monster, which is simply a wooly."
'Wow so that can really happen?" said Sonja. "Uh Sonja, the proof that it could happen is here. I don't see why that is such a big deal. For a long as I can remember, people in general can choose whoever to love and want to love. It is that way for all kinds of people. Monsters, humans, dwarves, elves and other creatures have been given that choice. All of them have been getting along pretty well. If some choose to intermarry with another set of people then let them. I think it is cool. It could help form a bridge between all creatures. Maybe with that all people could set their differences aside and live in peaceful harmony with each other."
"That is very intelligently spoken." said someone out of the middle of nowhere. "Raina, what are you doing here?" asked Luthien. It was a red-haired girl that was speaking." "I am here with my family on vacation." said this girl named Raina. "Oh so are you guys the only ones here also." said Luthien "No. Eldarion, Vanya, and their parents are here." said Raina. "Oh, so they are here too. That means all seven of us are here
"Um, what do you mean by all seven." said just about everyone. By then the whole of Fenith Island had come and they had heard everything. "Oh, sorry there are seven of us here. It is a little bit complicated to explain, but let us begin by stating the prophecy." "PROPHECY, what do you mean by that?" "Well, on the mainland in the city of Trampoli where I am from there is a nun who has prophetic dreams. My dad swears that prophecy or not he would have made the same choice." said Luthien. "She prophesized that first there would be someone who had lost his memory, followed his best friend, and defeat a man who merges with a monster. Then meet someone who gives up a throne and marries that person." "That refers to my dad." said Luthien.
"The second part of the prophecy refers to a man who saves the day, after he lost his memory. Meeting someone with half of something in her and ending up together. That refers to my dad." said Raina. By then two green haired children show up. "Ah that is Eldarion and Vanya. That brings me to the third and fourth part of it." said Raina. "The third part contains the story of how those part-monster and part-human children's parents would meet. Same basic principle as the first two, with the exception that the male is part-monster that is." said Raina.
"The fourth part refers to how Eldarion and Vanya's parents meet." "There was a fifth part, but no one can figure out what it means." said Raina. "We don't really need to know. Prophecy or not, the last part of it should be left up to the person who fulfills part of it, whoever that may be." said three strong-male voices. "Dad, Uncle Kyle, and Uncle Micah how did you find us?" said Luthien. "Some of the villagers showed us the way. We saw everything. Luthien you did a good thing helping out a friend, but you ought to be careful." said Luthien's dad.
Your father is right. YOU could get hurt or someone could misuse that power. If I had powers like that, I would be careful. I do not tolerate being called a mere human by someone else. I am great." "Aunt Bianca, you are here too. Opps I should say Miss, sorry Bianca" said Luthien. "Well as an honorary aunt and one of two godmothers that you have you may call me Aunt Bianca, if you wish." So this was the legendary Miss Bianca de-Sainte Coquille she seemed as formidable as I thought. "Wow, is this Bianca as in Miss Bianca de-Sainte Coquille?" said both Aden and Sonja. "Yes, it is I the great Bianca de-Sainte Coquille. You must call me Miss Bianca de-Sainte Coquille, you mere peasant."
"Yikes, she's scaaaary." Aden whispered to Sonja." I heard that." said someone else other than Bianca. "Aunt Minerva, you're here too." said Luthien. "Yes I am here and as your actual aunt and the first godmother, I deplore you to listen to your father. I am not the only one here, but your friends' mothers are here including yours. They have seen everything, Luthien" said Minerva. It was then that I wanted to intervene, thinking that they would be in trouble.
"Wait, they didn't do anything wrong. She was just trying to help. I've never seen anything like it, but it was brave and amazing. You shouldn't really patronize innocent children Humph." I said to her. "Maerwen you're here. How long have you been here?" said Aden. "I have been here long enough to see everything." I replied. " I wasn't patronizing. You should show some respect to those who have more power than you." "Uh, Aunt Minerva, your hair is down so no one can really tell who you are." said Luthien. "Oh, well why anyone didn't mention it before. It a simple matter really too fix. Sorry I overreacted. She then fixed her hair showing big, and pointy ears that stuck straight outwards. I couldn't believe it. Here was another dark elf like me I have seen another before, but she was also another maid like myself. " Oh my, you're an elf." said Sonja. " Yes I am a dark elf. I also happen to be a part of the royal bloodline." said Minerva.
"Oh wow. So you really can order people around. Sorry about that." Aden said. "No. Even though, I am a part of it I am not it. Since my sister left and gave up her throne, there hasn't been any queen elected to be the queen of the nation of elves yet. I was actually trying to reinforce some common sense in my biological niece here." she said pointing to Luthien. "WHAT? She's your biological niece! Then that must mean… ." everyone exclaimed including myself. "Yes, she is. It makes her not only partly royalty, except she can't claim anything since she isn't all of it, but she also happen to be a mix of an earthmate human and my sister who was former queen and full blooded dark elf." said Minerva.
" I told you it was complicated." said Luthien. "In fact three of the seven are half-earthmate human and half- elf, the other four are only quart elf." "Whoa, that is complicated, but these are cute. It explains how Luthien was able to heal Quinn in a matter of seconds. It is because she has gotten powers from being who she is. It is really cool. Well actually most of us have, those powers but she is the strongest of us. Show them what I mean, Luthien, go on." She then proceeded to sing. The flowers started glowing, and growing, and the kids that could transform, transformed and started dancing with glee. A chipsquek started climbing up her shoulder to rub playfully against her cheek. It was a magical sight. "Well we have to go. Oh and just so you know the final part of the prophecy refers to two golems battling and winning."
"Wait we battled a legendary golem with Ymir. Can you tell us how it goes?" said both Aden and Sonja. Oh so you must be it we have to go. It is in the form of a song . I'll write it down." said Luthien. She wrote it down and went to greet Tabatha who turns out to be her mother. "Goodbye." They all said. We all replied back. I was speechless. Could it be that what was thought to be practically impossible has just become possible? The children of elves, monsters, and humans actually being real! I was so in shock my head felt dizzy. "Can you tell us what it says Aden?" asked almost everyone. "Part of it is a story. So here it is." said Aden.
Long ago after the re-creation of the world the people of the world started fighting. The ancestors then gave some humans the power to tame monsters and grow crops. They were called the earthmates. They eventually started saving places and created peace. It was then that they married monsters, priests and priestesses, wizards, sorceresses, other humans, and more. They weren't positively satisfied. It was then prophesized that they would be united with the people with a strong connection with animals and monsters. These were the elves. Creating a stronger being and creating a way to make permanent peace between all races. Thus there shall be eight famous of these.
When a man merges a monster it shall be defeated by an earthmate following a best friend who helped hi m regain new memories. Then he shall meet someone kind. A queen dethroned so she could serve. Thus the first one shall be known. The other one has a similar thing. He defats a dragon. Then the second shall be known. Three more come from a legacy of monsters and humans. He shall defeat and meet. Thus a new part of bridge shall be formed. Two more emerge from one who is valiant and he shall meet and make the seven. When golems rise, two people merged into one, defeat the golem of legend and then freed. Thus the earthmate getting the final priestess freed. Shall meet one of blunt and intelligent and yet kind. It is a flower to bloom for this one person alone and him alone. Thus shall the eight and the strongest and most intelligent one shall be known. It is the answer to all many had hoped. It is the final piece of the bridge for the world's lasting peace amongst their people.
"Well we know of the seven now. The golems refer to us. It is the flower part that is confusing. How can a flower be blunt, intelligent, yet kind?" asked Sonja. " Heck if I know. It may refer to a person with that type of personality. We also have choice. Part of this is fulfilled, but I don't see why anyone would do this so a prophecy could be fulfilled. It is like the others said. They did it because they fell in love with the person mentioned in the prophecy and not because they felt dutiful to fulfill it. It is an ironic coincidence, maybe even fate playing tricks. It is that and that alone." said Aden.
"Oh well at least know we know." said Aden. "Yeah, Aden you are right on that. It was pretty cool to see that though. Who knew that there could be some children that turnout to be that." said Sonja Everyone then left. I was still in shock. I think I knew what that prophecy was referring to. It was me. I am the only elf on the island, and according to most I have the personality that fits. I just couldn't allow myself to dwell on it. As I said before no one knows all the possibilities that lie ahead.
