Summary: Once you scratch it…

On the surface Sam looked like any other regular high school girl. Though undeniably stunning, on the surface that's exactly what she was. She had her own close-nit group of friends, she worked hard, hated most of her teachers, excelled in her favourite subject and got her homework done on time.

But she had a smile capable of taking the unprepared, and even those used to its effects, off their feet. Eyes that held a gleam with the ability to freeze a person to the spot or pull them towards her, regardless of the direction they had been travelling in.

Once you scratched the surface, once you got to know her, you found that Sam was a vibrant, smart, incredibly passionate individual with a soul that set her apart.

Once you scratched the surface, allowed a new, more intimate light to be shed upon her she was revealed to be as unique as the first beautiful snowflake of a snowfall. Delicate, soft and completely one of a kind.

Brooke smiled, taking strands of long dark hair in her hand and letting it slip through her fingers. Sleepy brown eyes blinked open and glanced up at her.

"Morning beautiful." A bashful smile lifted Sam's cheeks and Brooke sighed happily. Completely uniquely beautiful.

She was glad she'd scratched the surface.
