Timeless
As she stood, in the corridor of time,
Total silence surrounding her
Much like a dolphin diving to the deepest corridor of the sea,
She could see beyond the bleak oblivion
And into the true reality.
For an eternity she had stood
Guarding the pathway to existence.
For an eternity she had waited
Knowing only a fool would break the taboo.
For an eternity she had been alone
Not a single soul or friend to speak too.
But now, midway through infinity,
A child had found her.
With loving eyes she stared up at the guardian,
And with excitement the guardian stared back.
Love and devotion.
Silence broken for an eternity.
And then others came, all following the timeless path of oblivion.
She was needed to break her own laws,
To live her own life.
The Timeless guardian, destined to guard the Gates for eternity,
Left her post.
