A little over a year had passed since the explosion that blew up the warehouse. Mrs. Frederic, Steve Jinks, H.G. Wells, and Trailer did come back with the help of MacPherson's watch, but with great consequences. Both Steve and H.G. had lost loved ones in the past. For Steve, it was his sister, Olivia. H.G. had lost her daughter. Seeing them after they died was a dream come true for them, but all that had been ripped away from them after being revived. For two weeks, both had been crying in their respective rooms, too angry to speak to anyone.

At the moment Mrs. Frederic died, Claudia became the caretaker of Warehouse 13. When Mrs. Frederic came back to life, Claudia still held the title of caretaker, while Mrs. Frederic was demoted to junior agent. After she had tortured Stukowski, the Regents did not allow her to become a senior agent right away. Her frustration over this was only magnified by the fact that the Regents had given her orders to do so in the first place. However, one characteristic that remained was her creepy stalker abilities, which she used to annoy Claudia whenever she could.

It seemed that at this point, Trailer was the only one who was doing well. Like most dogs, he could tell when humans were not feeling well. His instinct told him to cheer up Artie first. Artie was his human, after all. Trailer walked over to Artie's room and placed a bone at the foot of his bed.

Artie suddenly gave a rare smile. "Hey, that's... that's the Funny Bone of Thalia! I snagged that one in Delphi a few years back. When placed near a person, it makes them think of things that are amusing to them. How did you know that would do that, huh?"

"Dogs can smell that kind of thing."

Artie did a double-take at Trailer. "You can talk?"

"Yep, that's what I'm doing right now..."

"Well... stranger things have happened in my line of work. Anyway, I'm going to use this funny bone on every other person at the Warehouse so we can get back on track. We've gone a long time without responding to any pings, and they're piling up. Let's see... where's Myka?"

Suddenly, out of nowhere, a ghost appeared behind Artie. "MacPherson... came back to see me?" Artie guessed.

"Turn around," the figure said.

Artie did so, and gasped. "Chaturanga?"
