Chapter 1: Meeting Korra Melenoski

Mako POV

Today was my first day of school. Yay. I had never been to school, never planned on it. But of course Bolin gets in trouble, both of us get in trouble. So here we are enrolling for high school. Bolin and I would both be Juniors. Whoop-de-doo. We had just started walking in when we heard a deep rumbling behind us. We turned to see a black Sports motorcycleturning into a parking place. The rider pulled off the sleek black helmet and flipped her hair, not in a bratty way but in a way to get it out of her eyes. I looked her up and down, she was wearing a brown leather jacket and a white undershirt. Her knee-high converse covered most of the black naturally ripped skinny jeans. (go to my profile to see her outfit!) Brown hair with natural streaks of blonde cascaded gracefully to just above her mid-back. Her tan said that the liked the outdoors. As she drew nearer her beauty only increased. Her eyes, sapphire blue stared back at us. She jogged up the stairs and winked at us, "You're going to be late." She said as the opened the door and walked in.

"Woah." Bolin said. Eagerly following behind her.

Woah, indeed.

Korra POV

My name was Korra Melenoski. (It's a last name FTW) And not to sound cocky but I'm the most popular girl in school. Captain of the lacrosse team. I was not one of those preppy school girls, no my attire and motorcycle should prove that. I know how to defend myself. I'm not usually rude, unless a guy stares at my ass too long or a bitch goes too far. I can get away with almost anything. Boys were never a problem for me. At least getting them. It's holding them off is the problem. I have a lot of guy friends thanks to my brother, Howl. His friends come over, I beat their asses at Black Ops. Poof, new 'friends'. My only real friend was Asami, though I knew a lot of people considered themselves my friend. I know, I sound really stuck up. But believe me, I'm not. It's just the first day, all the girls are smiling and waving, wearing slutty outfits 'accidently' dropping their books so they can bend over and practicly show some dude her ass. Wow. I hate school.

I walked up the school stairs to see two boys looking my way. I raised an eyebrow and looked at them. One was a tiny bit shorter than the other, he had green eyes and dark hair. He had a flirtatious smile on his face. He wore a red t-shirt and blue jeans. 'cute.' I thought. But boys were not a concern for me. It's the first day, for peets sake! But his brother… He had periceing amber eyes that went along with his 'bad boy' get up. He wore black skinny jeans (not gay skinny jeans though) with a few rips, like mine. He also wore a plaid button up shirt that consisted of black and many different shades of red. His hair was styled in an upwards fasion, but it looked like it was always that way, natural. Different than a lot of fake guys at the school. 'hot.' I thought. I winked at them and opened the door. I said over my shoulder, "You're going to be late." I said.

I heard footsteps behind me, I didn't bother to look back because I already knew it was one or maybe both of the boys. That's when I find Asami, jumping up and down trying to get my attention. I smile widely and I'm about to run and hug her but before I can get another step, the shorter of the two out front (though he's still a little taller than me) sticks out his hand.

"I'm Bolin." He looks me in the eye, not the chest. I like that. So instead of decking him I grab his hand.

"Korra." I say. People around me stare, surprised I didn't punch him on the spot. He's about to say something when Asami is right next to him, probably worried that I'm about to so something back.

"everything all right, Korra?" She said slowly. Bolin turns to greet the girl and she smiles at him, typical Asami.

"Yeah!" I say and I release the boys hand to his dismay to tackle Asami in a hug. "Let's get to class" I say to Asami without saying good-bye to the boy.

Should I continue? Let me know in the reviews! Be sure to check out my other stories! I don't know if I'll continue unless people tell me I should…. It's up to y'all!
