The Fourth Faction Preview
The Demon flailed on the ground, blood pouring from multiple wounds turning the ground red. Its graying black hair pinned to its face by sweat and vital fluids, the he-demons eyes wide with fear and skin pale as paper. For standing over him were five figures clad in black armor with red and gold highlights. Each armed with a four foot halberd that glowed with energy at the top of the spike and over the blade. The demon could not see their eyes as they swallowed by the blackness of their helms.
Their battle had been short, he'd been walking down the street when they ambushed him the energy shots from their enchanted halberds had torn him apart. He managed to stumble into an alley before one the axe heads of a halberd had lopped his leg off. Know he was surrounded with death staring at him in the face.
"For such a "supposedly" powerful demon you easy to take down," said shadowy figure as he walked from the shadows, "my black knights had to give barely any effort."
The demons eyes widened at the site of the man, he wore a large coat with crimson and gold highlights with a large collar, and the coat also had twin tails at the ends, the bottom of which went to his ankles. The man's black hair went to his waste and his glowing purple eyes with vertical slits for pupils shown with malevolence.
"Only one person can command black knights," stuttered the demon, "but he's dead you can't be him."
"O but I am he," said the dark clad figure. "I am Zero pleasure to make your acquaintance."
"No," wined the demon.
"You have caused quite a bit of pain for two people I hold dear to me," sneered Zero. "A certain little white kitten and an overprotective black one." The demons breathing quickened as he heard the names of his two experiments.
"So I think," continued Zero, "that to avoid making them criminals and hunted by your kind I will give them justice myself. So make peace with yourself and die."
Zero stood and turned to leave, the knights' halberds beginning to glow even more.
"Wait, if you do this Sirzechs will hunt you down," cried the demon in a last attempt to avoid death. Zero stopped and turned around his eyes flaring with power in a sinister voice zero spoke.
"No angel, demon, or any creature will keep me from my family and revenge. People have tried to stop me before but have failed and paid with their lives. My faction will follow only me and we will rise to prominence once again!" The demon began to shake has Zero spoke fear becoming the overwhelming emotion in its head as the man in front of him then shouted.
"Vengeance is MINE!"
The soldiers answered with, "HAIL ZERO!"
The demons death screams echoed around Tokyo that night, but when the Knight Police arrived at the scene all they found was a large blood stain on the ground.
