"Hiei let's go," Hina said as she crouched down and grabbed her young son, no more than 5-years-old, "Where's Yukina?" she asked as she stood back up with him in her arms.

"I'm here mother!" Yukina said as she peaked out from the side of the house, "Hiei and I were playing hide and seek."

Hina put Hiei on one hip and said, "Come here Yukina, we're going home, okay?" She crouched back down.

Little Yukina ran into her mother's arms. Hina put her on her other hip and stood back up. "Aren't I lucky?" she asked as she started walking down the street as the snow began falling again.

"Why?" Hiei asked.

"To have two beautiful children instead of just one like everyone else!" She replied, smiling.

It seemed like every ice maiden was smiling as Hina walked by to get back to her house. Just as she was getting to the door Yukina said, "Hiei! The animals!"

"Can we run into the forest real quick, Mother?" Hiei asked, pushing away from her, "We'll be right back! Promise!"

Hina replied, "Alright, but come back once the snowfall gets deep, okay?" She crouched down and released her children.

As they ran off Yukina shouted, "We will!"

"They're so adorable," one woman said, watching them run away in the distance.

"I had no idea a little boy could be so amazing," another said, "almost makes me wish I had one."

"He is something," Hina said, looking at her children happily.

Hiei and Yukina made it to the middle of the forest out of the village with the animals around. "It's snowing," Yukina said to them, "you need to find someplace warm."

"I know!" Hiei said, "I'll make a fire. They'll stay warm that way." He grabbed a bunch of dead branches and set them on fire easily. Only this time it engulfed the twigs easily and set the whole thing into disintegration.

"Oh no!" Yukina said as the animals ran in fear, "That's okay. They'll be back when the snow stops."

"I didn't mean to scare them," he said sadly.

Yukina said, "Don't be sad. I like your fire. It keeps Mother and me warm. Everyone else is so cold around here. You're so warm, it's like snow is afraid of you!" She hugged her brother.

He hugged her back and replied, "Thanks, but we have to get back before the snow gets too deep!" He grabbed her hand and pulled her back into the village.

Once they were inside the house Hina said, "There you are. Everything okay now?"

"Mother," Hiei asked, "why am I a fire boy if everyone here is an ice lady?"

"Because you're different," Hina replied, "come here." She bent over and picked him up again.

"Me too!" Yukina begged, putting her arms up.

Hina picked up too and said, "You're both different compared to the rest of the people here and that's okay. We need that. We need your warmth, Hiei. I love you." She squeezed him tight.

"I love you," he whispered back.

Hiei opened his eyes and tried to remember where he was. He sat up and pain ripped through his right arm. He couldn't help my growl in pain and clutch it. He looked out the window and saw the sun just coming up off the horizon of Hanging Neck Island. He looked to the other side of the room and saw Kurama sleeping in his bed peacefully.

"It was just a dream," he said quietly to himself. A fantasy, he thought sadly as he slowly got out of bed.

"You're leaving?" Kurama asked, "We have a match in a few hours."

Hiei looked back over at him and saw he was wide awake and propping his head up with his arm. "I need to get out of this hotel," Hiei said angrily walking toward the door. I hate sleeping laying down, he thought to himself, I should have slept in a tree outside so I don't have crazy dreams like that.

Kurama rolled his eyes as Hiei left the room. He got out of bed and followed him.
