The pool of water rippled as a light grey she-cat lapped up water from it. At the sound of paw steps, she stood up as a black tom walked towards the water. His companion was a molten brown she-cat with red eyes.
"Wingstorm." The tom greeted.
"Hello Moonfang." Wingstorm said. "How is Grasspaw's training coming along? Well I hope."
"Yes indeed, thank you for asking." Moonfang purred. "Grasspaw already knows Thyme and comfery. Have you seen Lightwave or Redclaw yet?"
Wingstorm nodded. "Yes. They went on ahead. I wanted to wait for you two to get here."
"Lets hurry up then!"
All tree scampered ahead as a white she-cat and a black spotted tom appeared over the ridge.
"Hurry! We're wasting moonlight!" The tom said.
"We're coming Redclaw! Keep your fur on!"
All five scampered ahead as the half moon floated silently across the night sky.
When they came upon a pool of water, each cat settled around the edge. They then pressed their noses to the water. Closing their eyes, the cats began to dream.
Wingstorm opened her eyes to see a molten she-cat before her.
"Greetings Leafstar. Does Starclan have a message for us?"
Leafstar's amber eyes stared into Wingstorm's emerald ones. When she spoke, her voice was raspy. As if someone else was speaking through her.
"When Comet's gone, a winged spirit shall find her.
A curse she'll be until fate has bestowed a power.
A cat with the power of the stars in their paws.
Beware, the one with no soul or madness shall engulf the clans.
Peace will come over Comets quiet fang. Forever."
"Wait!" Wingstorm called out as she started to wake up. "I don't understand! Please tell me more!"
"Take the warning with care, Wingstorm." She whispered. "Or else the clans are doomed to fall."
Wingstorm woke up as the others started to wake.
"Anything troubling?" Lightwave asked, streatching.
"Nope."
"No"
Wingstorm hesitated. Should she tell them? After a second, she decided not to. "No. None here."
"Good. We should probably get back."
As they walked, Wingstorm's thoughts kept returning to Leafstar's prophecy. Surely she had heard the old leader wrong. Because every cat has a soul.
Right?
Dum dum dum! That's the prologue! I hoped you like it! Soul Eater won't be introduced until the third of fourth chapter. Sorry. And it may take awhile to get it up. I write these before I type them. I will try to update this story as much as I can!
