A.N - Hey guys, so this is a brand new fanfiction! It came to me while sitting in Biology class (I was bored :3). It's something a little different, for once the main character isn't an O.C! So hope you enjoy the first chapter!

"Come on, Tee! It will be fun!" Exclaimed my overly extroverted roommate, Renee. "Get to meet new people, generally have fun, what's not to like?"
I stayed silent as she flung dresses across the room. I used to like meeting new people, I think it had to do with the fact that Johnny wasn't part of the army.
Yes, he joined the army just over four years ago. I still haven't adjusted to life without him, my confidence has been sucked into a black hole and I sit every day feeling sorry for my life.
I just hope that something bad doesn't happen to him.
"What do you think of this one?" she smiled as she held a black sequin dress in front of her.
"Yeah, it's...good," I sighed, not looking at her one little bit.
She stopped smiling and put the dress down. She sat next to me and rested her arm around my back.
"He'll be fine, he's a tough man," she whispered. We sat in silence for a few minutes, but it didn't last for long.
"Please come to the party! You haven't seen any of your friends from the care-home for at least three years! It'll give you a chance to meet new people!"
"Fine, I'll come," I decided.
Renee smiled as I got up and started picking through my wardrobe.
