This is just a short preview of an idea I had for a story and I wanted to see how well this is taken in. Please let me know if I should continue or not.

Captain Kirk should not be as happy as he is. Captain Kirk should not be happy that Starfleet has required him and his crew to return to Earth for ship repairs due to a lot of damage on his ship, but there he was sitting in his chair wearing a great big smile. Just three more days and he would be back on his home planet. Sure he got lectured from Starfleet command about how he needs to take better care of his ship and whatever but it's not like it was his fault, that stupid Klingon ship just kept firing! He turned and looked around at his two best friends, his first officer, Commander Spock, and linguistics Lieutenant Uhura, who were speaking quietly to one another.

To say the least all of the ship's crew were bored. Since their direct orders were to come directly to Earth there was no point in listening for transmissions in space, everyone was just taking it easy just watching the stars go by. He noticed Sulu and Checkov had some massive sexual tension between them and Kirk made a mental not to avoid going near either one of their quarters. He chuckled lightly to himself as he thought about how one by one most of his crew had made their true sexual orientations clear to the crew. Jim had discovered that all of him womanizing back on Earth had gotten him nowhere so now he was onto the guys on his ship, and he was enjoying himself very much. Spock and Uhura had ended their relationship thing, or whatever it was, when the Enterprise picked up some stranded Starfleet cadets, after they rescued them from an alien brig, on a planet they were investigating. She and one of the ones that they had rescued had been seeing each other in private, and she would not tell her best friends who he was. Spock was Spock, he decided to embrace his human side over his Vulcan and surely little by little he was able to show some more emotions, after relaying his interest in 'homosexual acts'. Uhura had almost died from laughter when she heard this and then said spontaneously "Well I guess that makes me the fag hag of the Enterprise then." And true to her word she is.

Jim Kirk got up out of his chair and stretched the second his shift on the bridge was over. "The bridge is Yours Commander," he said smiling. Then made his way over to the turbo lift and headed down to the medical bay. The turbo doors opened and he walked out and made a grand entrance. "Bonesy! So nice to see you!"

"Well its about time you got here Jim, its been so boring down here when everyone is healthy, I even let the other nurses off, so I've been here bored out of freaking mind for the past 3 hours."

"Chill out Bones! I was doing my job up on the bridge," he smiled back. "So you're here all by yourself?"

"Yes." Bones said stubbornly and crossed his arms.

"Aww I'm sorry," Jim said as he came over behind the chair bones was sitting in. "Is there anything I can do to make up for it?" he said seductively into his ear, then continued to nibble around Bone's ear making him moan in the process. Jim smirked at this, His Bonesy could never stay mad at him. Jim thought that the friends with benefits plan with Bones was one of his greatest ideas yet.

"Computer Lock Med Bay."
