A/N: hey this is my first Outsiders poem. I was reading The Outsiders in
school and we had to do a poem project on it so please do not flame me if
you don't like it. I did it for a grade and also my own enjoyment and I
proudly say I got a 100% on it!!! I'm so happy! Please Review!!!

Fade To Black
I lay here on my death bed.
Thinking of the past
And what would have been of me
In the future
Memories appear in my head
Thoughts that cant seem to take out
The switchblade...
The soc... Bob was him name
The boy next to me... Ponyboy
He lay unconscious on my side
As I brought up the fear
Suddenly my fears were gone
Anger in my body
Blood running through my veins
All my courage all my bravery
As I took the switchblade
And looked at Bob
I stabbed him straight in the heart
The blood pouring from him
The scream...
The life threatening scream pounded in my ears
The life I've took away
The soul he could not keep
His body, Bob's body laid dead
Like a still lizard
I felt cold inside
There could have been a blizzard
I looked at my hands only to find blood
Dark red blood
I looked at Ponyboy to see him soaking wet
As the image fades away
I pull myself to reality
Teardrops come from my tearing eyes
My heart starts beating
Beating-beating-beating-beating
My heart starts beating faster and faster
Until- I fade to the black
