AN: I don't really know a whole lot about why I decided to write this story, but I won't continue it if I don't get some reviews….. This is just a prologue/ sample and other chapters will be much longer. Takes place after the Titan War, but before the Heroes of Olympus series starts and Percy still has the Achilles Curse. Read On!

Chapter 1: I'm where?

Percy Jackson was beyond confused. He was lost in more than just his orientation and all around him was white sand. Oh, except for the gigantic, old fashioned, black ship being carried by crabs. Yeah, it was sadly not the weirdest thing Percy had ever seen, but it hit in the top twenties.

Besides the gigantic ship and the dreadlocked man currently running after it, Percy was alone. There was no camp, no Annabeth, and certainly nothing familiar. Percy idly wondered if the gods were playing a trick on him, after all it wouldn't be the first time.

This thought caused Percy to wake up a bit more and sit up off the sand. He thought back to the last thing he remembered, which was walking along the beach in Camp Half-blood and enjoying the sound of the waves and the feel of the sea. He than remembered a bright flash of blue light and waking up here, alone.

Besides the man currently chasing after the ship being carried by crabs. 'Might as well go after it' Percy thought, standing up on his surprisingly un-stiff legs and starting to run after the man.

Suddenly Percy realized that he felt better than he had in a long time, even with the curse of Achilles making him invulnerable, he felt like he was free. He suddenly had no burdens, had no cares, and it felt so strange and wonderful he almost sopped to revel in it, but the man had finally caught up to the ship and was boarding it.

So, he kept running, faster than any normal human should have been able to and he panicked slightly when the ship disappeared over a hill. Percy sped up his running over the too white sand, ignoring the strong feeling of malevolence the ground was giving him, and arrived at the top of the hill, only to stop in confusion.

Below him was a wide ocean and on the coast of that ocean was a strange group of people that reminded Percy of….Pirates? That was the feeling Percy was getting from them at least. Deep down they all had a strange sense of freedom in them. The one with the dreadlocks being the strongest.

Percy let them carry on their strange reunion in peace, and instead focused on the goddess in the group. She had the roughened look of a pirate and the creepy look of one who knows too much. She, too had dreadlocks and Percy could also sense she was a sea goddess. Than she looked at him and Percy started slightly as her face creased into a puzzled frown and he felt a strange power tasting of salt wash over him. Than she smiled.

"Son of De sea god, what brings ya' here?" The woman called out with a strange accent.

Percy blinked as the strange group spun around to stare at him, before losing his feet in the quickly crumbling sand and rolling down the hill. 'How did I not notice the sand was crumbling?' Percy thought to himself as he spit the disgusting grit, which most definitely did not taste like sand, out of his mouth and pulling himself up to a sitting position. Only to feel a sword in his face.

Percy sighed and looked past the rusting thing to the menacing man behind it. "Er- hi."

AN: One review for it to be continued and so it will be!
