Born in Red Rock Canyon,growing up he felt like he needed to prove himself to his father,because when he was 18 and went on his first hunting trip alone he had gotten lost and had taken the whole day getting back when he was 27 he asked his father if he could go hunting with his friend Connor,when they were out of earshot he insisted they try to hunt a Yao Gui wandering around the outskirts of Red Rock Canyon they spotted one of the Yao Gui,they quickly hid behind one of the rocks Damon pulled out his 9mm pistol he got from his uncle on his 16th birthday and aimed at the Yao Gui and fired...but missed!The Yao Gui hearing the bullet turned and saw pulled out a .375 revolver and started shooting at it while Damon sneaked up behind tripped walking backwards and dropped his only weapon as the beast was about to bite him a shot was heard and the lifeless body fell on Connor,with a bullet lodged in its happened afterwards...

Damon:So...
Connor:Get this dang thing off me!
Damon:Should I?Or should I wait until I feel like I actually want too?
Connor:Dang it,Damon you jerk!Just get it of me right now!
Damon:YAO GUI!(pronounced "Yow Guy")That hurts my feelings.(fake sobbing noise)
Connor*rolls eyes*Just get it off me.
Damon:Okay!Sheesh!Mr. Grump Pants needs to cool down.
Connor:Lets just get this thing back home.
Damon:ONWARD TO ADVENTURE!
Connor:*sigh*Yeah lets go.

After pushing the body off he helped him up and together they carried the carcass,when they were at the outskirts of the their home they saw everything was in chaos,tents burning here,people running around there,and Damon's father fighting a man in a strange uniform with an emblem of a two-headed bear Damon quickly dropped the Yao Gui's carcass and ran to help his father,but his father seeing his son made him lose his focus,his attacker seeing his chance quickly pulled out a gun and shot his father in the shouted"NOOOOO!",the man grinned but he stopped grinning when a 9mm bullet went through his head that the attackers started retreating,because that was the general Damon just killed and seeing how he was dead they panicked,that day Damon made a promise,a promise to avenge his dad and kill the man who ordered the attack,a promise to do anything it would years later he still had no leads on the person who ordered that attack he was drinking away his sorrows away in the Atomic Wrangler Casino he sat on his bed and remembered that was the day two years ago his father died he blinked the tears away thinking about what his father would think of him now the next day he left Freeside whispering"I will avenge you.."over and over again.
