Hey guys! For some reason I've suddenly wanted to write another Harry Potter fic so here's a super short one shot I wrote in about ten minutes :)

Enjoy!

Disclaimer- I own nothing

"George?" I called, walking through the shop and to the door of the apartment above. "George?" I repeated but received no answer. I knew he was home though, he hasn't left the house since he returned and told everyone he'd prefer to just be on his own.

I called again but there was still no reply, so I turned the open door handle and walked inside. It didn't take me long to find him. Sitting on the lounge chair, staring at something perhaps only he could see. "Happy Birthday..." I said quietly, hoping not to upset him.

He still didn't reply and when I sat down next to him, he didn't complain or move an inch. "George, I know this is hard bit please... Say something, anything?" I pleaded. I took his hand which felt like ice and summoned a blanket to wrap around him.

"I miss him too," I sighed, tears beginning to well up in my eyes. I couldn't imagine how much harder this must have been for him, being his first birthday without his twin. I questioned if he was listening as he kept staring into the distance, his eyes glassy, only moving to breath or blink.

"George, listen to me," I started. "Everyone's worried about you... We miss you, it feels like we've lost both of you."

He remained silent. "I know we van never replace or fix what happened but please... You have to know we all care about you am love you to much to throw your life away like this... Fred wouldn't have wanted that."

At the mention of his twins name, tears suddenly spilt from his eyes and before long I had my arms wrapped around him, crying myself. We stayed like this for a whole before the tears subsided and and George took in a shaky breath.

"Hermione..."

"Yeah?" I replied, looking up at his tear stained face.

"Thanks..."

It wasn't much I know, but I hope you liked it! Please review :)
