Percy

Running.

That's all I've been doing for the past week. Running and fighting angry gods and bloodthirsty monsters. Slash, dodge, slash, punch, repeat until the monster was dead. I was on a quest by myself to get a powerful demigod from Florida. I know what you're thinking, Why can't the satyrs do it? Well, I wish I could give you the answer to that, but to be honest, I have no idea.

All I know is that the satyrs are busy, at least that's what Chiron said, he also said that this particular demigod is to powerful to be taken to camp by a satyr. What that meant? Again, I have no idea. I hated doing things without knowing what I'm actually supposed to be doing, but I learned to deal with it, because that is literally every single quest or prophecy I've been apart of.

We were running from a pack of hell hounds, by we I mean Andy and I. Andy is the demigod I am trying to get to camp, we were almost there, just a few hundred yards away from the base of Half-Blood hill. C'mon, I thought, I just need to get Andy to get to safety. That was when one of the hell hounds pounced from behind me, the force knocked me over like I just got hit by a truck, it's claws left three long gashes on my back.

"Percy!" Andy yelled. I had managed to roll over so I could try to get the hell hound off. His breath smelled rotten meat left in a gym locker for a century, his big meaty paws were on the ground on either side of my head, and his red eyes were shining in the little light the moon gave off, as if he was deciding if ripping me to shreds will be better using his teeth or his claws.

"Andy," I said, way more calmly then I felt, "You need to run, as soon as you pass that pine tree you'll be safe. Once you get pass you need to find Annabeth or Chiron they'll know what to do."

She shook your head, "No! I'm not going to leave you here to fight those things alone!"

"Andy I'll be fine! You need to get to safety!" I had finally managed to get the hell hound off of me, and gotten on my feet, feeling a little dizzy from the blood loss.

She shook her head again, "No! I'm staying!"

Gods, this girl is more stubborn than I am, "Andy! I am not letting you get killed after all we've been through to get here! Go. Get. Help. Now!" I gave her a stern look and slashed through another hell hound. Finally getting the message, Andy ran off toward Thalia's pine tree.

It took Andy about five minutes to come back with Chiron and Annabeth running behind her. By then, all the hell hounds were gone, nothing left other than piles of golden monster dust. I stumbled forward, trying to blink away the spots dancing in my eyes. But I felt too weak. For the past week I've been relying on adrenaline to keep me going, now all the sleep deprivation and blood loss was getting to me. I felt all of the energy leave my body in waves, I just needed to close my eyes…

"Percy!" Annabeth yelled.

And that was all I heard before the world went dark.

Andy

Percy has been unconscious for a day, I have only known him for a week, but it feels like I've known him for my whole life. We're so alike in so many ways, same sarcastic sense of humor, same lopsided smile, we even have the same hair color. The only difference is our eyes, his were a beautiful sea green that changed colors according to his mood. Mine were the same way, but mine were purple, like a vibrant purple that could be extremely scary if you were at the receiving side of a glare.

Annabeth and I have been at his side all night, shoving ambrosia into his mouth and treating his wounds. He was exhausted, he'd had been taking care of me when he brought me back to camp. Watching out for monsters at our campsites just so I could sleep, letting me eat and drink first even if there wasn't enough food for him, if we got attacked he would only check if I was ok, not caring about himself. It made me feel really bad, Annabeth said that he was always like that with his friends, never caring or the dangers he puts himself in. Taking care of him while he was unconscious was the least I could do.

Percy groaned, "Wise Girl?"

"S-Seaweed Brain?" Annabeth stuttered, I could tell she was trying to keep herself from crying, trying to be strong.

His eyes shot open, and he sat up so quickly he could've gotten whiplash. "What happened? Is Andy okay?" He asked frantically

"Yes, Percy I'm fine. Thanks to you" I said, giving him a small smile and he smiled back, but then winced in pain. He looked down and saw the bandages wrapped around his torso.

"Dang, that hell hound got me good didn't he?" He said with a grin, but got slapped in the face in response.

"You idiot! If you scare me like that again I'll kick your ass, then I'll have Clarisse finish you off!" Annabeth said on the brink of tears. Percy's eyes widened in fear, a red mark the size and shape of a hand was on his face, but then he smirked and started pulling her toward him.

"Seaweed Brain what are y-" She was cut off by Percy's lips against hers, when they separated Annabeth slapped him again.

"Ow! What the Hades was that for?" Percy said, cupping his cheek

"For kissing me while I'm trying to be mad at you!" Annabeth said, a smile threatening to appear on her face. Percy and I started to laugh. "What's so funny?"

Between laughs I said, "Nothing (laugh) It's just, you two are supposed to be couple?" More laughter.

"I know," Percy said, "Sometimes I even get confused." We continued laughing until Annabeth stopped us with a terrifying glare. But then she smiled started to laugh as well. Percy's wound on his back was long forgotten.

We continued to laugh nonstop throwing out random jokes until a knock was heard at the door. Chiron, in his magic wheelchair, came in. Oh, you're probably confused on how I know all of this stuff. Well, Annabeth explained it to me last night while an Apollo camper took care of Percy, took a while to process, but it was a better explanation than Percy's.

"Ah, I see Percy is awake, you girls have taken great care of him. I hope cleaning up the drool wasn't too much of a problem." He said with a smile.

"Hey!" Percy protested, Annabeth and I laughed at him. "Don't drool that much when I sleep do I?"

"Yes Seaweed Brain, you drool that much." Annabeth said and gave me a look as if to say, see what I have to deal with? And I just nodded, Percy was pouting like a five-year-old in timeout.

Then the door burst open, three people walked in. One was a girl with red hair that was a mess of frizzy curls, and emerald green eyes. Another was a boy with short blonde hair, electric blue eyes, and a small scar on his upper lip. And last was a girl with choppy brown hair, braided with feathers, and eyes that couldn't stay one color, like a kaleidoscope. And they all took turns slapping or punching Percy in the face.

"Ow! What is this, slap Percy in the face day or something?" Percy said.

Everyone else laughed "That's what you get for being an idiot." The blonde haired boy said.

"Well I had a perfectly good reason, or did you forget that I was trying to save a life?" He said, gesturing to me.

"Eh he's got a good point, but you're still an idiot." I said.

"Thank yo- Wait, Hey!" Percy said, then he went back to pouting like a child while everyone else laughed.

We all calmed down and the three new people turned to me,

"Hey, I'm Jason." The blonde said, holding out his hand to shake.

"Andromeda, but you can call me Andy." I said, shaking his hand

"Nice to meet you Andy, I'm Piper." the brown haired girl said.

"Rachel, I'm the camps oracle." The other girl said.

"Nice to meet you all." I said with a smile.

Then we all left the Infirmary, walking out of the big house to the beautiful sight in in front of me, I took a tour earlier but the camp looked so much better in the after noon. Campers were doing their daily activities and sitting around in the courtyard at the center of the cabins. Looking at all of their happy faces, and seeing how much fun they were having made me want to stay here forever. They were all wearing the same thing, orange t-shirts, shorts, and leather necklaces with clay beads on them.

There were so many different people, one group was looking at themselves in pocket mirrors and gossiping, another was a group of som tough looking people, all decked-out in weapons.

Following my gaze, Annabeth said, "Those are Ares' kids, don't look them in the eyes and they won't harm you."

"Right." I said with a nervous laugh.

With that, we walked away to an old-looking cabin, it was actually the only cabin that looked like it came from a normal summer camp. The brown paint was peeling and the wood was covered in splinters. Whoever had to live here I felt bad for, I mean who would want to fall asleep worrying if the ceiling was going fall on top of you while you slept?

"Welcome to the Hermes cabin, where you'll be staying." Percy said.

"I'm staying here? Is that even safe?" I said.

"Don't worry it's not as bad as it looks." Percy said with a smile. Then he knocked on the door, no answer. "Stolls! Open up! We have a new camper with us!" Then, two boys that looked identical opened the door.

"Regular or undetermined?" One asked, looking at Percy.

"Undetermined." Percy said, and they turned to me.

"Hey, she's pretty." The other one said, I blushed. "I'm Conner, and this is my bro Travis."

"Andy." I said.

"Cool name." Connor said, and I blushed even deeper.

"T-thank you." I said with a small smile. And then we stood there in an awkward silence until Travis spoke up.

"Welcome to the Hermes cabin Andy, hope you enjoy your stay here." Hey said as if it was a hotel of something.

I walk in and instantly check if my necklace is still on my neck, there is just something about these kids that made my feel uneasy. All with mischievous smirks and crazy glints in their eyes.

"That's your bed." Conner said, pointing at an empty bed.

"Thanks." I said

"I'll see you at dinner tonight, I guess." He said awkwardly.

"Yeah, I guess you will."

A few hours later…

It was time to meet up for dinner, everyone was lining up by seniority so I was last. As we walked to the dining pavilion I couldn't help but notice an older, Ares kid was pushing around one of the younger girls from the Aphrodite cabin by a fountain. I just couldn't help myself, I started running over the fountain to help, taking someone's dagger from their belt in the process.

"Andy what are you-" Travis started, but I couldn't hear him finish that sentence.

"Your so helpless! No wonder your Mom ignores you!" The Ares kid yelled at the Aphrodite girl, who was crying.

"Hey! Leave her alone!" I yelled, now in front him.

"And who are you to tell me what to do?" He asked, smirking.

"The person who will kick your ass if you don't leave this poor girl alone." I said angrily, giving him a glare.

His eyes widened in fear, "I-I'm not scared of you."

"Oh really?" I said.

Then a sound of waves roared in my ears and I felt a pull at my gut. Next thing I knew, the boy in front of me was soaking wet. Everyone looked at Percy, who put his hands up.

"It wasn't me I swear." He said

Then everyone looked back at me, or what was above my head, and gasped. Because there, floating above my head, was a glowing green trident.

Chiron, now out of his wheelchair, trotted over to see what all the commotion was about. When he saw the trident his eyes widened in surprise.

"Oh dear… May I ask what your last name is Andy?"

"Jackson." I said, confused on what was happening. Everyone gasped again.

"Poseidon," Chiron said, kneeling, "Earthshaker, Stormbringer, Lord of Horses. Hail Andromeda Jackson, daughter of the Sea god." My eyes widened and I looked at Percy, who looked like he was about to cry.

"AJ?" He asked, I haven't been called that in a really long time. Not since, no, it can't be him, can it?

"AJ is that really you?" He asked again, on the verge of crying.

"Fish Face?" I asked and he nodded with a huge grin on his face. I dropped whoever's dagger I was holding and lunged at Percy, tackling him in a hug.

"Oh my gods AJ it's been way too long. Ten years maybe?" Percy said when we got back up. Then he looked around to see everyone's shocked faces.

"Oh everyone, this is Andy, my twin sister." He said with a smile.

Everyone gasped in shock. Then, one by one, they collapsed. People had to rush and catch the fallen, but then they fainted too. Then Percy's eyes rolled to the back of his head and he passed out too.

"Percy!" I shouted, trying to catch him.

But then my vision blackened, and I fell to the ground.
