EVERYTHING
"Expeliarmus!"
"Avada Kedavra!"
Powerful beams emerged from the two duelists' wands and intertwined instantly. Tom's green beam and Anna's red one seemed like one, the colours blending right in the middle.
As the two of them sweated with effort trying to hold their ground, ghosts emerged from their twin wands: The last people each of them had killed. Bertha Jonkins. The Riddles' caretaker. Despina Vandi. Elli Kokkinou.
The duel seemed to come to a draw, but that was just an delusion. The Dark Lord and the Light Lady definitely weren't equal, for she had an ace in her sleeve.
As they kept struggling with the wands and new ghosts kept appearing, Anna began muttering a spell. She visualised Tom's heart breaking as she opened the door, she visualised the tears in his face burn like fire as she looked in his eyes, and in fact his eyes were now more red than usual, full with pain.
Lily and James Potter emerged from Voldemort's wand at the same time as Lia Vissi emerged from her sister's wand. At this point, the incantation reached a climax. The Light Lady fell on her knees from the tiresome spellwork, her wand still fighting its sibling.
Then, she shouted the last part of the incantation:
You're everything I hate
Everything you do
Everything I fear
Everything on you
I will kill... Everything you are!
As the Lady sang the final cry of the spell, both sets of ghosts joined her, chorusing the same verse against Lord Voldemort. Slowly but steadily, his curse's green beam weakened until it was no more. The Dark Lord fell on his knees, but whereas the Lady's fall symbolised her victory, his symbolised his demise.
The Light Lady's beam hit the Dark Lord full force; his flesh started burning and he exploded in a fearsome cry. His ashes swirled in the night sky until they created a set a words. A phrase that pointed her victory all over the dark cemetery.
EVERYTHING, by Anna Vissi
The end
Author's note: For those who don't know, Anna Vissi is a famous Greek (actually, Greek-Cypriot) pop singer and in fact she's the absolute goddess in her domain. Everything is the song she represented Greece with in the Eurovision Song Contest of 2006. This is obviously a humorous story – I'm not implying the goddess is a witch or anything, though if she were it wouldn't take her seven books to kill the bloody snake-face. Anyway, the idea came up a few nights ago while I was talking with a friend about the Goblet of Fire, and it formed itself in my head this morning as I was doing the dishes. So, I hope you enjoyed it, I certainly laughed my ass out writing it :)
