General winter was playing games again, and again we got in trouble. He blew the window open and the wind knocked down the big china hutch and me being the only one there and the only one willing to take responsibility of it, which included the punishment. I guess General winter was off laughing at me now. I know that I probably won't wake up tomorrow, but I'm better than someone important. As I approached his door I heard him cursing in Russian. His voice was irritated. As I knocked on the door then it hit me, If I saved the others the important one will be safe. All I really have to do is save them, leave with them and forget this all happened.

Easy right? So I entered putting up a façade as I usually do, you see he is in a better mood if you fear him. He doesn't scare me, I've been through too much to be afraid of him. Also I know I'm meaningless, I'm just here to feel pain. I guess.

"So it was you who broke the china hutch," He said with a smile. I began to shake but as you know it was fake. He then took me by my collar, but I didn't wince like I usually did. I just stared into his eyes, his burned into mine but I did not waver. It was time.

He held me in the air and his hands slowly closed on my neck. Tighter, tighter he then made another move he slammed my head on the wall. After this I pretended to be hurt, but it didn't hurt. He turned around to get something from his drawer. Then is when I made my move, as he turned around I roundhouse kicked him, right in the eye. Then I turned to ran to the door, but I noticed a pain in my ankle. What Russia was grabbing was a knife, and now it was in my ankle. So I bent down and pulled it out Then I ran out I had to find Prussia.

I limp-ran to his room and once there I pulled open the door. He was there, thank goodness.

"I'm getting everyone out of here, find Russia's sisters then Estonia and Lithuania I'll get Iceland and Finland hurry," With my word Prussia looked back at me and smiled.

"Finally freedom," he said as he stood up. "See ya',"

I waved and ran out of the room, I was worried he found them and hurt them. He didn't I saw Finland and Iceland walking down the hall. As I got closer a vase was hurled at my head. I dodged it and it shattered on the ground. Finland and Iceland were now at the end of the hall with Prussia. I signaled for him go on with them.

"You are going to pay for my black eye and letting my servants go, you Latvia are a deceiver and a good one at that," He said with a cold smile "How about we trade, all of you go free as long as I get your eye," he said as he pointed to my left eye.

I clenched my fists it was just a price for their freedom, right? Then I slowly nodded. I looked up and came closer to him.

"I don't care, but if you go back on your word I will get payback,' I said defiantly. He smiled as he grabbed my neck and pulled my face closer. He then held the knife he was holding up to my eye. When he had begun. I didn't feel it but later I will. Once it was out he let it drop to the ground.

"Bye," he said with a honest tone.

I turned around and headed to the exit. I moved slowly. It hurt I can honestly say that for once. When I opened the door . They all came toward me they talked a lot as I just held my bleeding eye quietly.

"What's wrong with your eye?" Estonia asked me

"I traded my eye for our freedom," I said in reply. They all stared at me. Then they all started to cry. Estonia picked me up and ran as fast as he could to the nearest doctor. They tried and tried to find a way so that I wouldn't bleed to death. They succeeded, freedom was theirs, but for me I will always wait for mine to come. I will always be tuck with that memory, but it was a price for their freedom.
