Introduction
It was raining. it's been weeks since I've fed. I have been traveling non-stop since that hellish day. I
wanted to get as far away from that place as possible. So I did. And here I am. The streets are empty, of
course. Who would be out in such weather beside's me. The air was so cold it haled. I was weak with
hunger so I decided to rest in this park. I closed my eyes and put my head down listening to the falling
ran. I could feel the drops roll down my neck. Then all of a sudden I didn't feel them anymore. Did it stop
raining?. I looked up and saw a little girl standing over me. She had a long pink coat and pink ribbons in
her hair. She couldn't of been more than five or six years old. What could she be doing out here alone?
That's when it caught my attention. She was shielding me from the rain with her umbrella… Why? She
stared at me and I stared back at her. She was alone...and I was hungry. My throat started to burn with
hunger. She smiled down at me and spoke softly; "Don't be sad." I sat there staring back at the lovely
little girl with blonde curls. She reached her hand out to touch my face. She smelled strongly of
strawberries, and the rain only made her scent stronger and sweeter. I trembled as she gently touched
my face. Could I resist her? Her hand moved closer to my nose and her scent of strawberries filled my
lungs. My eyes were black and my throat burned and itched with hunger. "Christina" a voice called. The
girl turned towards the voice and pulled her hand away from my face. She smiled back at me and waved
running towards the woman who was probably her mother. I watched her go holding hands with her
mother, until I could no longer she her, only smelling the faint scent of strawberries. I found myself still
staring long after she had gone. The vision of the blonde little girl who smelled heavily of strawberries.
Christina...
