Sad and alone
Ryou walk silently past the laughing kids in the park. "If only I could be as care free as they are" he thought to himself. he sits on the park bench.
::poor Ryou, feeling sorry for yourself again?::
damn! Ryou forgot that bakura could read his thoughts.

all Ryou could hear was an evil laughing. he sighed. Ever since this thing inhabited his thoughts, he'd had nothing but heart ache.

Ryou jumped up from the bench and ran to the only place where he knew he could go..
a little later, two things happened. It started to rain, and Ryou found himself in front of the Kame game shop.. Ryou was just about to beat on the door, when he thought. "Maybe I should see if they're home. Ryou walked around to the large window in front of the house and looked in. He saw that everyone was al the house. Joey, tristan, tea and Yugi were all sitting around the table laughing at something that Joey said.
Ryou leaned in closer and stuck his hand on the window. Did Yugi just glance his way? No, he must have imagined it.
"I don't belong here." Ryou thought to himself.
::no, you don't.::
Ryou just sighed and walked home.
Yugi's pov.
I looked closer at the window. Did i just see Ryou? Yes, it was him. I'm sure of it. I looked back round the room and saw that no one else had been paying any attention to the window. "he was probably just here to say hi." Yugi thought to himself. but something about Ryou eyes troubled him. His eyes. He looked lost and alone. "I know what I must do." thought Yugi. He excused himself from everyone and got up from the table. He quickly got up and ran to his room and after a bit of searching, found what he was looking for.
Yugi quietly slipped out the door and ran to Ryou's house. When he got he placed the object on the doorstep., and then ran the bell and ran. "Hope he likes his present." thought Yugi to himself.
Ryou was just getting ready to go to bed when the door rang. "who can that be he thought to himself."
He went to the door and opened it and found no one there.
"Hello? anyone there?" Ryou called
He was just about to close the door when he noticed a object laying on the ground he picked it up and what he saw made cry.
It was a dueling card.
