Ehy everyone! Okay, so before I started I wanted to tell you all that I always wanted to write a fanfiction here, in this website, and then, finally, I convinced myself to do so eheh, so…..here I am!

Now, I know that my English isn't the best (I'm actually Italian), so if any of you notice any mistake please tell me :)

Of course I don't own any of the characters, except the new ones, and neither the story, objects, fruits, ideas etc… they're all yours Eiichiro ;)

Also, before you start reading, I wanted to tell you that I'm not really following the story, so I'm going to write about Luffy and the others as I like, without "restrictions" (for example if I want someone to be alive, they're alive, even if in the anime they aren't anymore eheh)

I almost forgot to explain a thing! I'm not really sure of what I'm going to write in the future, so I put rating: T just for being sure

Well, I think I've told everything I needed to say, therefore here's the first chapter of my One Piece based story, hope you enjoy reading it :)

It was a beautiful day, the sky was clear blue, just like the color of my long hair and eyes, which I liked very much, and there wasn't any sign of pirate's ships, which meant that I wasn't needed, at least for the meantime. I could either go in my room and relax a bit, which I wasn't allowed to do during the last three weeks, or I could go train a little bit, for further try to control myself, even if I knew that wasn't possible, at least not in my conditions.

I decided for the first option, because for sure I will not be able to rest much from here on.

As I started heading towards my room, a bunch of marines began marching in my direction, so I stopped and bowed as a sign of respect.

"See? I told you it was real fun ahahah"

" Ahahaah he's right! Every time we go near her, she has to bow, or the captain gets mad with her ahahah"

As they started going away, still laughing while instructing the new apprentice, I lifted my head and continued going towards my room.

I was accustomed to these kind of things, they always made fun of me. If it wasn't for him, I'd...I could try to...

I let out a sigh as I talked to myself.

"aaah...I can't keep thinking these kind of things, or else I'll end up getting in trouble for sure"

As I continued walking I watched towards the open sea, thinking how beautiful could be going everywhere I wanted, no rules and no one to stop you. Almost instantly, all of my chances of relaxing went to waste, because I saw a man, in the ocean, gripping tightly to a piece of wood, floating away as I watched.

I had to save him.

*cough cough cough buaaaaa cough*

I almost laughed, seeing how the young man was trying to cough out the water, making all that strange noise.

"Are you okay? You seemed out of energy out there in the water, but now you seem fine"

He looked towards me, and smiled while responding "Yes! Thank you very much, you saved me. You see I can't swim eheh"

I blinked a few times before actually speaking "You can't swim?! And why were you in the ocean? Do you perhaps want to die?!"

"Ahahaha no, of course not eheeh, I just falled off my ship, and I couldn't swim because I ate a particular fruit and now I can't stay in the water without losing all of my energy, do you know what I'm talking about?"

"...Yeah, I know..."

He seemed a bit preoccupied because of me, becoming sad almost instantly by hearing of the devil's fruit, so I tried to change the subject of the conversation.

"So, why were you here, floating around? Did some pirates attack you? Oh and by the way, I almost forgot to ask your name eheh"

"Ahahah no, I wasn't attacked by some pirates, it was the marine's fault. You see, I'm a pirate myself ahaha. I'm Monkey D. Luffy, nice to meet you! :D"

I was terrified, I had just saved a pirate from almost certain death. It's not that I hated pirates or anything, and he also seemed a very nice person, I could check on him and see if he was a good or a bad guy, but I didn't need to. The problem was that we were on a ship full of marines, and as I started taking Luffy in sympathy, I realized that I didn't want to fight him.

"Listen, you need to go away right now, this is a Marine's ship! If they see you, you're dead for sure, you hear me? I like you, you're not like the pirates we see everyday, you're funny (and also a little strange), and I don't want to fight you, but if they see you here, I won't have any choice but to attack you, and if I do so...I...I don't want to, please go away..."

I must have a terrible look on my face, because he looks me in the eyes and then, with a totally serious voice he asks me: "You just said you don't want to fight me, If you don't want you could just ignore your captain's orders, right?"

I bite my lip, not responding to his question.

"Are you a prisoner? You're not with them because you want to, right? You don't look like you want to stay"

"Please, just go...you can't understand"

"You can come with me, I have a lot of nakama, we can protect you and take you were you want to go, just think of it as a thank you gift for saving me!"

"I can't...leave this ship...please just go and..."

We were interrupted by someone screaming "Pirates! There's a ship heading towards us!"

"Ahahah, they found me finally….Now I can return to my adventure" He said, then he turned looking at me "If you change idea, we're the ones you'll probably fight in 5 minutes or less...and if you change idea just tell us and we'll help you get away from here, it's a promise"

As he jumped with an incredible strength, reaching the now close pirate ship, I started questioning myself. Was it that impossible to leave? Maybe he could help me get what kept me here, under the orders of that horrible, tyrannous captain. But if he couldn't, then the captain...no, I couldn't risk so much, that thing was too important, I couldn't be reckless.

I had heard of him, Monkey D. Luffy, known as Mugiwara, but I was sure that he wasn't strong enough, he won't be able to help me, the captain was too strong. Me too, when I was little, I tried going against him, and if I couldn't win, then nobody could...he always said that.

As I lifted myself from the floor, I started going towards the deck, where everyone was probably wainting for me in order to eliminate that ship, the ship of Monkey D. Luffy.
