Just a silly one shot to get this damn song out of my head!!! Please don't mock my song choice.
As always, dedicated to Courtney, no longer cripple but always my muse.
Dedicated also to Alex, three months today, it's a difficult day for me, but I'm getting through it thanks to my friends Courtney Laura, Izzy and Jen, love you all.

One bed is
broken
Next room is bumping
Air-conditioning stuck on
heat
Outside it's raining
Hear the guest upstairs
complaining
About the room that's got their TV too loud
--
Wake
up early
Round 7:30
Housekeeping knocking on my door
Do
not disturb sign
The back of her mind
I must have left it on
the floor
Yeah
My eyes are hurting
Coz the cheap nylon
curtain
Lets the sunlight creep in through from the clouds

Eric groaned and rolled over, hissing when his bare back was stabbed by a rogue spring poking out from the mattress. He rolled over again in the other direction and screwed his eyes shut as a beam of sunlight tattooed itself on the back of his left retina. Damn nylon curtains. He squinted at the clock and sighed. Seven thirty in the morning. 'I hate conferences.' he mumbled, sitting up and being blasted by the air conditioning that had been blowing hot air into the room all night. To his right, a TV was blaring through the thin hotel room walls, and on his right was the sound of a hacking "smokers" cough. Upstairs he could hear a loud Texan drawl complaining about the TV in the room next to him. A loud knocking at the door startled him. 'Housekeeping!' called the eastern European voice. What the hell was she doing, he had the Do Not Dis- no he didn't. He finally opened his eyes and saw it lying in the middle of the floor.
God he hated conferences. Next time H could choose someone else to go to these things, no matter how educational the Cuban might find it.
He gave up and flopped back down on the bed, swearing in loud Spanish as he was impaled on the same spring as last time.
