SIX BILLION SECRETS: KAITO AND RIN

Author's notes: Hmmmm... This is so... dark. Alrighty, I got the idea from . I love that site. I twisted the story a little though... Anyways, I don't own VOCALOID. If I did, I would make Kasane Teto an actual VOCALOID. Cause I love her.

AUTHOR'S NOTES BELOW IS VERY IMPORTANT! READ IT!

The sky had darkened considerably, and a gray cloud hung heavily above the school. It was going to pour. The perfect scenario for a suicide.

Rin fingered her grey hoodie and stepped on to the platform on top of her school. Little droplets started to fall. Rin smiled a little, noticing the patterns they made on the concrete. She leaned forward, balancing on the balls of her heels. She could see for miles there. The city looked much better when it was grey, not with flashy lights all over. That hurt her eyes.

Rin could almost swear he heard him call her name. Then she laughed to herself. HE certainly didn't care when she called his name, so why should she care if he called hers?

She grinned a little at her logic. Boy, would they be shocked when they found her dead on the playground. She stuck a foot off the platform. Now or never.

"RIINNN!" She knew she wasn't dreaming or hallucinating. She turned around. "Kaito?" she whispered, just before she lost her balance.

Kaito was dumbstruck. What the hell? He knew his best friend, Len, had an "emo" little sister, Rin, but he never thought she would resort to… To that.

He had always liked Rin. Ever since he met Len when they were 6 and Rin was 4, he had always thought she was cute. But of course, a few years later, adolescence kicked in, and Kaito couldn't look at Rin without remembering the… Graphic scenarios he had often thought of.

Rin was always so bubbly, so full of life. What happened?

And then she had gone and killed herself. Kaito fell on his knees, then put his hands forward. It was all his fault. He felt the rain pattering on his back and the thunder roaring ahead.

Rin frowned a little as she continued her 20 feet journey to the ground. Hmm… Kaito was there? That took away some of her pleasure. She felt the wind whipping through her blonde hair and the cold rain pattering on her face like hailstones. Time seemed to slow down. She liked this dimension very much. Just her and the wind.

The last thing she could remember was the hard, cold concrete beneath her and a sharp pain on her head and her knees taking such an incredible impact she could actually feel them move out of their natural position. Then a flash of lightning blazed across the sky as she closed her blue eyes… Never to open them again.

Author's notes: Ok, before some of you come to my house with a shotgun, WAIT FOR THE NEXT CHAPTER. You'll probably hate me less. Or hate me more. ANYWAYS... I didn't copy the exact story. I twisted it a little, to see if I can write these types of FanFics well. So... I'd REALLY appreciate it if you review. Tell me what you think about it, where I can improve, etc, etc. Thanks!

Ego vobis valedico! (I say goodbye to you in Latin)
