After hours of giggling, serious make-up talk and numerous outfits, Alicia was ready to 'admire' herself in the hung in the hallway of her and Angelina's apartment.
"Wow, Liz, you look great!" Katie smiled genuinely.
"Yeah, sexy!" Angelina said, and then took her place in front of the mirror.
Liz was happy with the way she looked. She was wearing a short, lightblue dress, that only widened around her thighs, and barely reached her knees. Her entire back was covered with a nice set of dark blue robes, which had the sole purpose of making her outfit actual dress robes, rather than a cute dress.
Though she thought, also wearing a white pair of high heels and a white purse, her look was perfect for a wedding.
Angie was looking fierce as ever, wearing a red, silk dress (she insisted on wearing flats instead of high heels, and Katie and Liz couldn't blame her, as she was a lot taller than the average woman.
As for Katie, she obviously went for the standard little black dress, which she rocked, honestly.
It was great to talk about superficial things as dresses and stuff, as going to the Fleur and Bill's wedding in general brought up a lot of feelings and relationships.
They all knew it was hardest for Angelina, whom had dated Fred for a while, but everyone knew she was destined to be with George, as they had been in love with each other since forever.
If she were honest, Liz had to admit she really missed the guys in her lives. She had been busy with her career as a healer, and the guys were obviously occupied with running the most popular shop at Diagon Alley.
Yet she really missed them. Especially Lee, with his jokes. Lee and her had spent hours on top of the astronomy tower talking about everything. They always joked that they would end up together, as they both wouldn't find someone.
But she knew it wasn't true. There were millions of witches out there that would fall for Lee's charms and humor, and hopefully she would find a lovely witch herself.
But sometimes she wished she could just marry Lee. Sometimes she wished she was not gay. is would all be a lot easier.
"Damn, I'm hungry!" Angie interrupted Liz' train of thoughts, and the girls got up.
"But we just had our brunch!" Katie seemed generally shocked, and looked at Liz for help.
"Nothing new for me," Liz smiled, "Angie has continued our eating habits from when we were in Hogwarts."
"Do I need to remind you ladies," Angie put her arms around her two best friends, "that I'm the only one of us three pursuing a Quidditch career, and that I train about 15 hours a week?" She looked down at her feet, and added quietly: "Plus, I'm really nervous for this afternoon, and you guys know I need food when I'm nervous."
Liz rolled her eyes. "I think I have some lasagne left in the fridge."
