A/N: Hello, everyone! Guess what time it is! It's time for the ninth and final installment of my "Ways To Annoy People" series! To refresh your memories, here's what's happened so far… Alex and James Blake pulled some pranks while celebrating their anniversary at a restaurant. Ashley Seaver pulled some pranks on various pizza guys/girls. David Rossi pulled some pranks while at the mall. Derek Morgan pulled some pranks at the drive thru of various restaurants. Penelope Garcia pulled some pranks while on a plane to London. Emily Prentiss along with Clyde Easter, pulled some pranks while in a movie theater. Aaron Hotchner and his son Jack, pulled some pranks while vacationing in Hawaii. And Spencer Reid pulled some pranks while in the elevator at the B.A.U. Now, in the finale of the series, we've got Jennifer Jareau-LaMontagne pulling some pranks while at an amusement park with Will and Henry. I hope you all with enjoy this fic as much as the previous ones. Also, I had this story planned way before Michael LaMontagne existed. So he's not in this story.
Disclaimer: Unfortunately , JJ, Will and Henry LaMontagne are not mine. They belong to CBS/Criminal Minds. The amusement park isn't a real one, it's just something I created out of my imagination.
"Humor is the great thing, the saving thing. The minute it crops up, all our irritation and resentments slip away, and a sunny spirit takes their place." ~Mark Twain
It was a warm and sunny Saturday afternoon and "Bella And Griffin's Fairytale Land" was crowded with thousands of people. The popular West Virginia amusement park was built thirty five years ago, in honor of mischievous twins Bella and Griffin Maverick; who had quite the imaginations. Garland, their father spent millions of dollars, constructing the 350 acres amusement park to his children's likings. It was given as a gift to them on their seventh birthday.
Jennifer Jareau-LaMontagne or JJ as most people call her, was lifting her six year old son, Henry out of his booster seat, while her husband Will patiently waited for the two. The trio had arrived at the amusement park and were all excited to be there, especially Henry. Jumping up and down, the six year old started to make a run towards the front gates.
"Whoa, buddy! How about we all three go together?" Will firmly, but gently grabbed his son's arm.
"Okay, daddy." Henry agreed with his father and grabbed both Will's and JJ's hands.
"Henry, you're going to love it here." JJ smiled at her son. "A few months after you were born, your daddy and I decided to take a little trip here to see if it was as awesome as everyone says."
"And… it is. We loved it here." Will chimed into the conversation.
"Where was I at?" Henry wondered, aloud.
"You were spending the day with your Aunts Emily and Penelope." Will said.
When Henry was just three months old, JJ and Will had driven to the amusement park for the very first time, at the insistence of Penelope Garcia and Emily Prentiss, who demanded that the two of them go on a date without a baby. After spending nearly an entire day there, the two of them decided that when Henry got older, they would take him. Now, six years later, that promise was kept.
The three of them stood in line to ride a roller coaster called, "The Great Escape." It was a large roller coaster that had speeds of up to 35 mph, looped three times and even moves backwards. When the LaMontagne family were at the front of the line, with a serious look, JJ loudly asked the lady who was running the roller coaster, "So, how long has it been since someone's thrown up on this ride?!"
Will had a look of embarrassment on his face as if he couldn't believe his wife would ask that in front of so many people. Being six years old, Henry giggled. A few angry sighs could be heard from behind the trio. Answering JJ's questioned, the lady responded with, "Ma'am, I can assure you that so far, nobody has ever thrown up on this ride."
Heaving a sigh of relief, JJ turned to everyone else and shouted "EVERYONE, IT'S ALRIGHT! NOBODY HAS EVER THROWN UP ON THIS RIDE!" She along with Will and Henry, then took their seats on the roller coaster as the rest of the seats soon began to become occupied.
End of chapter one. You all know that I just love reviews. So please send me some. I really want to know what you all thought of this first chapter. Just try not to be too mean about it. I'll have chapter two up as soon as possible.
