I love how protective of Layne Gabriel gets and I can just see him in the halls giving guys the eye for looking at his girl! :) Super Short One-Shot
Five. Five guys in five minutes had done a double take looking at Layne as they walked down the school corridor, it was as if since Gabriel was dating her she was suddenly free eye real-estate, Gabriel glared at one guy who was unfortunate enough to catch his eye while checking out his girl. Layne was completely oblivious as she stopped at her locker to get even more books than she was already holding.
"The nerve of those guys" Gabriel growls.
"What?" Layne asks.
"Look at them all checking you out" he says eyes on a retreating sophomore Layne smiles.
"Jealous?"
"No" Gabriel answered to fast, Layne laughed kissing his cheek.
"Relax Gabriel it's not as if it means anything to me, I have the hottest, literally, guy in the school, they've got no hope, let them dream" she says with a shrug walking into their shared math class. Well when she put it like that Gabriel felt a lot better, until he caught three guys in this class alone doing it! Gabriel's bad mood returned.
During lunch Gabriel begun taking stock of all the types, dismissing the ones as Layne said had no hope and the ones he'd gladly get suspended for teaching a lesson to. Layne made him look at her.
"Cut it out worry wart, I don't want them"
"But..."
"I don't want them, none of them would care about me and my brother as much or be as awesome as you are, so give it up Merrick" Gabriel smiled kissing Layne, be damned who was watching, he had the best girl in the world, that's all that mattered.
