An Army Of Slaves
"Where now?" Amy's eyes were alive with excitement as she questioned the Doctor.
"You tell me, Amelia." He winked at her as he passed around the TARDIS console. "We can go anywhere and everywhere."
Amy hesitated, there was somewhere she really wanted to go, but she could never ask that of the Doctor, no matter how much it made her heart break. She decided to play it safe. "You know the Universe much better than I do show me some of the beautiful things you've seen."
"Space travel it is then!" He spun on the spot and slammed his left hand down on a big black button. He continued walking around the controls, pulling various levers, pressing a few buttons and flicking unusual switches.
Amy traced his path in her mind, trying to see if she could make any sense of the crazy mess. The Doctor noticed her concentration and smiled, he loved the mix of confusion, surprise and wonder that crossed his companions' faces so often. It was one of the reasons he did it.
"Tricky business, flying the TARDIS." He flicked one last switch. "That's why I never bothered to learn!" He laughed as the whole ship began to tremble.
Amy began to worry but the Doctor's laugh was incredibly contagious and she soon found herself laughing the worry away.
All of a sudden, the rumbling stopped and the TARDIS came to a halt, making the beautiful 'vworp' sounds that Amy loved so much.
"Come along Pond!" The Doctor began to stride towards the doors, gesturing for Amy to follow him, she didn't hesitate. He stopped, leaning his back against the door, grinning from ear to ear.
"Where are we?"
"No idea! More fun that way." He spun round and opened the wooden doors in one swing to reveal a very snowy landscape. "Ah, we appear to have landed on the Ood Sphere!"
