A/N: Shippo and Kirara make beautiful couple3 They've been together for so long, they probably have a spark. c: My friend: LadyReno, inspired/ suggested I write a one shot of them. So here it is!
No Boundaries
15 years after the fight with Naraku, peace was brought into the feudal era once again, and thus showing Naraku was finally finished and gone. Kagome and Inuyasha had wed and Sango and Miroku followed soon after. Kirara and Shippo have a stronger friendship than ever before, despite the fct she's a kitten demon, without a human like form.
Shippo is now a teenager, his long red-brown hair is still tied up with a blue ribbon. Now, wearing a male kimono. White with dark blue leaves as a pattern, scattered along his sleeve and wore kimon pants the same color as the leaves. He now perfected in transforming into anything and learned offensive fox magic. He sparred with Inuyasha nad sometimes, Inuyasha and Kagome's daughter, Hitomi.
Shippo was sprawled out in the open meadow with Kirara by his side. She mewed in content and curled next to him. Shippo slightly smiled, and thought about his feelings. The wind blew some dandelion seeds in their direction and the trees rustled, as if restlesss and impatient. Shippo was thinking about how Kirara lives with Sango, Kohaku, Miroku and their two children, Kisa and Hatori. He also thought about how he fell in love with Kirara.
Shippo ran his fingers through his hair, in fustration, when he got an idea. A spell he recently learned that could turn anyone into human form, with the ability to convert back and forth to their original form, at will. Shippo laid the little kitten on the clover bed and started using his fire fox magic.
An hour later, Kirara woke up. " Hey Shippo, shouldn't we be going soon? " Kirara asked. She gasped. I can talk... She looked at her hands. Her human hands. I have hands and feet! Hugging her body was a beautiful kimono, white with small brown like fringes, it ended around her knees and wore knee high scoks.
Shippo murmured, " Kirara... You're so beautiful... " He cleared his throat and continued, " I- I used fox magic on you... I transformed you into human form, you may covert to your original form at will. " He finished explaining, fearing her wrath as she remained quiet.
He looked into her beautiful red eyes. She still has her eyes and fangs. He was suprised by her sudden hug.
Kirara hugged him tightly and cried out, " Thank you Shippo! " She pulled away slightly and questioned him, " But... Why did you do it? "
Shippo smiled and tousled her beautiful cream colored hair lightly. " Because... Kirara, I love you. I always have and will. "
Kirara gasped and teared a bit. " B-but I was... I am... A cat demon. I was nothing more than a companion, a kitten. "
Shippo shook his head. " No. " Was all he said as he wiped Kirara's tears away and lifted her chin, so her eyes could meet his. " You are my best friend, who's always been there, the one I love, the one for me. "
Shippo leaned in, mesmerized by her gaze. " The one that showed me love has no boundaries. I love you. " He finished.
" And I love you. " Kirara murmured. Their lips touched, the spark grew and love was in the air...
